This is a quick heater check for the girls to make sure they are warm in their hives on the 22F morning in the Bug Farmer apiary. The bees in the back row are working themselves to death trying to keep their hives warm while the girls in the front row with the heated hives are in a 72F ambient temperature climate controlled environment to help them through the winter months.
