Cowboys take on rookie Neil Lomax

Washington game does not exist in full so I'm skipping to the Dallas game. I did put a highlight from the Washington game. This was probably the turning point for the 49ers this year. Washington win was a good win but Dallas is the team you measured against during this time. And after starting a bit rough the first 3 games this was a big game for the 49ers. Dorsett turns 57 today so here's a Sunday Night game against the Rams.

Parts of the first half of this game had sound issues where the sound was completely gone. But this was a good MNF game. Bills led by Joe Ferguson against Danny White and the Cowboys.

Eddie Murray's 47-yard field goal split the uprights as time ran out. Billy Sims out-rushed Tony Dorsett 119 yards to 55 and Eric Hipple piled on 264 yards passing to Danny White's 244. The Lions came back from a 17-0 deficit to claim the victory. Lost in the confusion, Detroit had 12-men on field at winning kick.

Giants desperate for a win to get into the playoffs. Cowboys were still in the running for home field in the playoffs if San Francisco had lost the next day and they win. This was a defensive struggle.
