The Larson Electronics HAL-PT-LED-CPR-C-100 Hazardous Location LED Light provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to other hazardous area luminaries, such as high pressure sodium (HPS), metal halide (MH) and halogen lights. LED technology and a sturdy design make this light perfect for a wide variety of illumination needs.

This Class I, Division 2 explosion proof LED light fixture provides 10,000 lumens of lighting power while drawing 100 watts. Constructed from durable die cast aluminum with a tempered glass lens, this C1D2 LED light is built to last. The hazardous location light is rated for 100,000+ hours of lamp life and is ready for pole-top mounting applications. The HAL-PT-LED-CPR-C-100 is also a great option when upgrading lighting from older and higher maintenance cost explosion proof lighting.

The HAL-PT-LED-CPR-C-100 is available in a wide range of voltage options from 90-305V AC. It features 84 individual LEDs that offer high-quality light in a 120° beam spread. This light is also ATEX rated for European countries. Recommended in a color temp of 5700K, this light is also available in 4000K and 2700K. The cool white 5700K color temperature rating provides clear, bright light for great illumination of any work area. A dust resistant coating protects the rear cooling fins from excessive dust build-up preventing this hazardous area LED lighting unit from overheating and compromising the lifespan of the LEDs.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
