CC02 Effective Advocacy

Anti-Human Trafficking. We can't look at other people's lives and experiences from our own. We have to make a conscious effort to truly listen and care from a genuine place, dignifying others' experiences and feelings equal to ours and everyone's. Because if we are only trying to win an argument, no one wins, and we are reinforcing the walls that divide. But effective advocacy that produces real change seeks to win the heart and melt those very walls in the process.
