Groovin' (Young Rascals, The, 1967). Live performance by Bill Sharkey, Home Studio, Hawaii Kai, HI. 2021-03-15. "Keeping the Oldies Alive"

"Groovin'" was the Young Rascals' second #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart reaching the top position in 1967 (Whitburn, 2013). Felix Cavaliere stated that the song was inspired by his fiancée at the time, Adrienne Buccheri, whom he said "was divinely sent for the purpose of inspiring [his] creativity (J. Pallino, Boston Globe, July 10, 2003). Overtime, "Groovin'" has become one of the Rascals' signature songs (Wikipedia, 2021). The song is also found on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's "500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll" (J. Henke, chief curator, nd).
