Part 1
A journey through Snowdonia National Park on the Welsh Highland Railway from Portmadoc to Caernarfon and return behind NGG16 class garratt No.143, the last locomotive built at Beyer Peacock's Gorton works.
Part 1 starts with the view out the window leaving Portmadoc on the 9am up service, crossing Pont Croesor, passing through the spectacular Aberglaslyn Pass before stopping for water at Beddgelert.
**Let me apologise for the quality of this direct publishing from MS MovieMaker to YouTube which is, for want of a more eloquent adjective, total and utter shite. I shall repost these seven odd videos in higher definition in the fullness of time.
