Storm Shield Forecast morning update 8/13/18

After five days in a row of triple digits with this latest heatwave, temperatures stay in the 100s again today in the valley with a forecast high of 101 in Bakersfield. The Kern River Valley tops out in the mid to upper 90s with the mid to upper 80s in the south mountains of Tehachapi and Frazier Park. The Kern Desert once again sees highs in the 100s for most cities.
