When you're heading into a busy season, you might consider batch cooking the healthy foods you know are good for you... to help you get through that busy-ness while still eating healthy.

Yet others say: why would you even bother? Lots of people just skip meals, or eat whatever, or just make do.

I don't like to "just make do".

If you have an event coming up (in this video, I'm talking about preparing for our daughter's wedding week busy-ness)... it might be a wedding, a graduation, traveling... take some time and think about YOUR reasons why you don't want to just "do whatever".

Here's my biggest reason, among others.

In order for me to have energy and keep up with things, I need to sleep well. 💤

My digestion system has to feel good. So it's important that I don't just "eat whatever". I need to eat the foods that help me sleep well, help my digestion feel good, prevent headaches, and keep my energy up as high.

How do I do that? I stick with my foods and then I have what I need! 🙌

What about you?

Do you find yourself doing "whatever" ...or prioritizing yourself and batch cooking ahead so that you have what you need even during busy times?

The nice thing is, the way I cook (Eat God's Way), food is very simple. So it's not that hard (but it does take some prep time, no other way to slice it) to batch cook ahead for busy times.

Simple methods. Simple tools. Simple whole foods. Simple goodness.
