Bringing You Purrfect Music Every Day! We immersed ourselves in the birth of a musical era in Baroque. Now, we continue this musical journey into the Classical era of music, where Mozart and Haydn take centre-stage. Audiences saw a huge increase in the number of different types of pieces, including symphonies, concertos, and solo instrumental works. Moving away from the elaborate melodies and ornaments of high Baroque music, the new style of music featured simple melodies backed by larger ensembles. Technically, composers like Beethoven and Schubert fall unto the later era of Classical music, and in to the early-Romantic era of music, but considering most of their works fall in the classical era, I have kept these pieces in (forgive me music historians!)
