Having pets can be quite the hassle. They like to wake us up too early in the morning to play, to eat, to take a walk. They like to nibble on our fingers and toes even though it’s not always as comfortable as it seems. They like to scratch our furniture leaving us with frayed couch edges and claw marks in our favorite wooden chairs. But it is all forgotten the moment we see their smiles.

There is something so extremely adorable when we see pets being naughty little critters then hitting us with the megawatt force of their smiles. Everything is forgotten and forgiven the moment they come to have a cuddle and we become putty in their hands. Check out this compilation of animals doing what they do best. Being cute!

We never knew that owls staring at you and doing absolutely nothing else could be cute, but this footage proves it. We can definitely admire the way owners have learned to communicate with their pets. Just look at this guy making his kitty dance while it’s nibbling on his sock.
