Planet Fitness bans user for complaining about ‘trans woman’ shaving in female locker room

Planet Fitness is the latest company to learn the hard way that alienating your customers doesn’t work. The gym chain has seen its value plummet after doubling down on its decision to ban a female member for reporting a ‘trans woman’ shaving in the women’s locker room.
Patricia Silva was banned from the Alaska gym after detailing the incident online. In a video posted to social media, Silva explained that there was also a young girl in the locker room, wearing only a towel, and that the girl was ‘freaked out that there’s a man shaving in her locker room.’

Silva confronted the person, who claimed they were ‘queer’ so could use the women’s locker room. After she shared this information with the public, Silva was banned from Planet Fitness.
The gym acknowledged that ‘some members may feel uncomfortable’ about sharing a locker room with a ‘transgender member,’ but argued that this was ‘not a reason’ to deny the transgender member access to the female locker room. In other words, women should just suck it up and stop being so uncomfortable around ladies’ penises.

In a twist that absolutely everyone saw coming, Planet Fitness has now seen a staggering $400 million wiped off its value, as users call for the ‘Bud Light treatment.’ This saga is sure to end brilliantly for the company.
