In 1794, the United States of America received its first major challenge towards its new constitution. President Washington would successfully raise an army to put down a rebellion of Pennsylvania's westernmost counties over a tax on whiskey. Washington made his headquarters in the residence of a former militia officer in the American Revolution, which we pay a visit to in this edition of Retracing History.
