I say that only the first verse is a question; it is answered by the remaining verses." In 2012 Jim released "Acoustic National Anthem Four-Verses" then discovered a year later something stunning: a then-well-hidden "Concluded" verse was written in the 1860's. "The 'Concluded' verse is essential and should be, I believe will become an official verse of the song." Written at the outset of the United States Civil War, "Concluded" uses the same melody and rhyme pattern as the verses written by F.S. Key.
