The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in a very tough place right now. The most recent releases have been gigantic flops for Disney Marvel and the future doesn't look to bright and not just becuase of all the Kang/Jonathan Majors drama going on but also because of the fact that there are still key players that have not been properly introduced into the MCU yet such as the Fantastic Four.

However, today we got reports that Pedro Pascal will be bringing Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic to life in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie. I don't know whether this is true or not but I do not like this casting because of the fact that the age of the actor will most likely coincide with the character and starting off Marvel's first family with Mr Fantastic already being 10 or so years into his journey feels weird.

Perhaps we will get an origin story and he will just be a little older than in previous iterations.
