Wyze was founded on July 19, 2017, by Yun Zhang, Dongsheng Song, Dave Crosby, and Elana Fishman. Their inaugural product, the Wyze Cam V1, debuted in October of the same year, followed by the V2 in April of the subsequent year. Although the company faced the threat of closure during the pandemic, the steadfast support of their fans through the Cam Plus subscription enabled them to persevere.

Wyze products have consistently offered remarkable value for money. Among their lineup, the flagship and most popular camera is the V3 cam. This camera captures "Crisp" HD footage at 1080p, boasts night vision capabilities, an SD card slot, a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication, and a magnetic base complete with mounting hardware. An enhanced Pro version with superior hardware is also available.

Presenting another compelling option, they offer a Pan and Tilt camera within a similar price range. The latest iteration is the V3, featuring color night vision, complete 360-degree rotation, and a 180-degree vertical range. A privacy mode adds an extra layer of control.

Also included in their lineup are the OG and Telephoto cameras. While individually affordable, these were designed to complement each other. Sharing most features with the Wyze V3, they exhibit slightly less sharp camera quality.

Expanding beyond cameras, Wyze introduces a comprehensive range of offerings. Notable among these is their home security kit, featuring a keypad and sensors that seamlessly integrate with their cameras. Additionally, their product range extends to a lifestyle section, encompassing headphones, earbuds, weight scales, and smartwatches.

Their diverse array of smart devices includes lamps, light bulbs, light strips, various vacuum options, smart switches, a thermostat, locks, and even a smart safe. Further complementing their camera lineup are innovative attachments such as a light socket to power the V3, activating lights upon motion detection, and a garage door opener that utilizes the V3 to determine the status of the garage door.

Wyze's aspirations transcend being merely a camera manufacturer; they're committed to offering comprehensive smart solutions. With Wyze, it's conceivable to outfit your entire home while adhering to a budget, covering the essentials and more. Although they lack a proprietary virtual assistant, their integration with Amazon and Google provides seamless compatibility. Notably, they are yet to introduce a smart blind solution.

When it comes to products, Wyze leaves no stone unturned, and their commitment to expanding their ecosystem ensures a diverse range of options for budget-conscious consumers.
