Mushroom Foraging early September, Dyers Mushroom special

In this video Aaron Hilliard of the Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society, takes us on a walk in the very end of the summer to discover the mushrooms growing in the woodlands and their uses.
Its a great time for dyers mushrooms and that is what this video is mostly about. The dyers polypore, Phaeolus schweinitzii and the Velvet footed Pax, Tapenilla atrotomentosa, are a couple of the mushrooms encountered on this foray, as well as a couple edible mushrooms, one of which is highly sought after!
