The stock plastic mudguard on the Honda CB1000R is an abomination!
It's a huge piece of unpainted plastic on a bike that prides itself on it's stylish aluminium trims and finishes. What's more, it's not even very good! It's structurally weak and flaps about in the wind like a spaniels' ears (I dare you to look down at yours from above while you're doing over 70 mph), while simultaneously allowing so much crud to hit the engine and radiator, that both have great big patches where all of the paint has come off, even thought the bike is only just over 2 years old!

Thankfully SW-Motech has come to the rescue and given me one of their Aluminium Fender kits for my CB1000R, so that I can finally do away with the plastic monstrosity and have a front end that looks the way it should from the day it left the factory.
