GAIN respect & trust by owning your mistakes & flaws

I've shared a lot of my flaws and mistakes on purpose. This way, I own the story, and I get to tell it in an empowering way. It's important that I stop repeating the mistakes I'm putting on display. If you're going to highlight your flaws, you better be ready to work on them!

It can be strange when I meet someone new, and they feel like we know each other. I call this the "one-sided mirror effect." The audience feels so connected to you, but you don't feel connected to the audience. The person on the other side of the mirror desperately wants to break the glass, but if they did, the illusion of connection would be broken as well.
