According to locals in Kalagala – Kikutuzi, the murder of Monica Nabukenya by her husband, an Israel national, was allegedly triggered by a woman named Maria, whose current whereabouts are still unknown.
The allegations suggest that Maria, out of jealousy, blackmailed the Israel national, Wated, with sensitive information about his wife, which greatly destabilized him and ultimately led to the tragic act.
