Dog And Owl Are So Inseparable They Even Go Swimming Together

By now this should all be some very old news. But we can’t, for the love of all that is good in this world, get over how adorable it is to see two animals of wildly different species get along together so well! We have seen the dog and the4 cat, the cat and the mouse, even the dog, cat and mouse combo. They are nothing even remotely odd these days. But when we saw this German Shepherd dog going for a swim with a tiny little owl on his back, we gave up everything just to watch them, again and again!

The owl loves the dog so he goes where the dog goes! Watch him hitch a ride as they enjoy a nice swim in the water. This is definitely one of the most unique friendships we've ever seen!

The pooch waits patiently while his owner records their adorable ensemble. Outfitted with a doggy swimming vest, he waits for the cue to finally take a dip in the refreshingly cool water, with his owly buddy. The bird doesn’t move a feather, it just sits there!

Even in the water, the bird hold on tight, while the dog does all the swimming. It might be for the best, because owls may be expertly silent flyers, but they would definitely make incredibly loud sinkers if left alone in water.
