Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg told a reporter in Washington Monday that passenger traffic and supply chains in the Pennsylvania region will be disrupted in the wake of Sunday’s collapse of the I-95 bridge. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority added extra service to several train lines to help with passenger congestion while Governor Josh Shapiro signed a disaster emergency proclamation to aid in reconstructing the bridge.
