Are you here? I want to be sure you’re here. To err is human, to be here…means that you’re listening to The Paul Leslie Hour.

If you ask the host of The Paul Leslie Hour, and that’s Paul, by the way. I’m the announcer, Dan. He says it’s those moments of honesty where someone isn’t afraid to call it like it is. Such is the case with this interview from the archives.

You’re about to hear the E. L. Woody interview. Now, his birth name was Edward Lee Woody, but his professional name was E. L. Woody. A lot of people called him “The King of the Papparazzi.” What a claim to fame that is. Now, Woody was born in Orange, Texas in 1946, but spent most of his life in California where E. L. Woody passed away in 2017.

So, in this brisk interview, "The King of the Paparazzi," E. L. Woody told the truth about the business of photographing and filming celebrities and how he started in the profession to rise to the very top. He was a bit gruff, but accommodating. You see, there’s not many interviews with E. L. Woody out there.

You know, you can help us in our mission in a way that’s completely free and easy to do. Just look up The Paul Leslie Hour on YouTube and subscribe. Ring the bell while you’re at it.
