Before you engage in each activity, meditate on the specific Bible Scripture provided at the beginning of each step. Allow the Word to penetrate your heart, equipping you as you move forward to becoming your best self–which is the human sojourn.

For way too long, something inside held me back from living my God-given destiny. Whether it was evil forces, bad habits, consequences of poor choices, a deep-rooted belief of unworthiness, or a combination of all these things, one thing was obvious—I blocked my blessings. I felt guilty for having “ugly” feelings. I chose to deny rather than accept my truths, had poor communication skills, misunderstood unconditional favor and made excuses when I chose not to discern right from wrong.

Seminars, church and counseling wasnʻt enough; I looked inside, and became the answer. The Bible says the Kingdom of God is in us. When we work at improving ourselves, we evoke the greatness of God. R.E.S.C.U.E.D. helps me evoke my God-given greatness and it will help you.
