Martial Arts (Kali/Arnis): Drawing Proverbial Lines
1 year ago

By now, you've trained enough to do a really good flow of the 12 Basic Angles, whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced. As much as you want to train in the basics and never forget them, let's be honest, you find doing them repetitively a bit monotonous. Hence, this training method. I've been doing this ever since I saw the anime Kara No Kyoukai, and it actually hanged my approach when it came to training; no longer do I see the 12 basic "pathways" but I see different "lines" that I could draw from any kind of angle that I do. Which means that, my flow will be entirely different from your flow and others' flows as well. Hope you try this approach to break the monotony of training!
