There is a famous author out there that has talked about how eggs basically increase your risk of viruses. Are Eggs Bad for You?

There's just really no research on that. And there are a lot of people that really thrive on eating eggs regularly. And we look at eggs themselves.

They're incredibly nutrient-dense, the most nutrient-dense foods you can put in your body.

A lot of the same benefits I talked about with butter, we also find in eggs conjugate aluminic acid, which is excellent for your metabolism, helps you burn fat better, and is great for your immune system. There are anti-carcinogenic effects or anticancer effects from conjugated linoleic acid. You've got vitamin A.

That's what actually gives the yolk a yellow or orange color. In fact, the more orange the yolk, which you'll find in like, more pasture-raised eggs where they're eating more grass from soil that's really nutrient-dense, it'll become more orange, and that's more of this fat-soluble retinol, which we think about carrots, we get beta carotene. But beta carotene is not true vitamin A.

Proper vitamin A is something called retinol that we concentrate on in our eyes. For example, the retina is also great for the brain and gut immune system.
