Israeli Defense Forces fire back following Palestinian rocket attacks

Explosions erupted in Gaza after the Israeli military said its fighter jets struck targets early Thursday, February 23, in retaliation for rockets launched at Israel from Hamas-Palestinians on the Gaza strip. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the targets of the strikes were “a weapons manufacturing site and military compound belonging to the Hamas Terrorist Organization, located in central and northern Gaza.” Palestinian outlet WAFA reported damage to buildings, but no injuries, following the strikes.
