Band Assisted Archer Pushups

Loop a long-loop resistance band around a pullup bar above you. Climb through the band so that it is on your hip bones. The thicker the band is the more assistance it will give you. Start with your feet shoulder width apart (it will be more difficult with the feet together). Start in a high plank with your hands turned out about a foot wider than shoulder width. Spread your fingers and grip the ground tight. Perform a pushup to one side trying to stack your shoulder onto your hand while looking the other way towards the straight arm. This will resemble an archer’s bow. Push off the bent arm until both arms are straight. Alternate sides to complete the repetitions.
