Freshwater Mangrove Aquarium Fish Tank - What I've Learned Over Two Years
1 year ago

This is a freshwater red mangrove aquarium I've been growing for the past year and half and what I've learned. The goal is a mangrove aquarium similar to what you see in the mangrove forests of Florida. I purchased them as seeds. They are hardy plants and grow great in freshwater. The key is to keep them elevated from the substrate to encourage downward growth of the roots. In addition, outside in the sun is the best for them especially if you're in a more humid climate typical to where mangrove forests grow.
