Freshwater Red Mangrove Aquarium

This is a freshwater mangrove aquarium in process and what I've learned over the past year and a half growing them. These are red mangroves. The goal is a mangrove aquarium similar to what you see in the mangrove forests of Florida. I purchased them as seeds. They are hardy plants and grow great in freshwater. The key is to keep them elevated from the substrate to encourage downward growth of the roots. In addition, outside in the sun is the best for them especially if you're in a more humid climate typical to where mangrove forests grow.
