• Matt 27:20 It is to the shame of human beings that they can be swayed into sin by leaders. The people were persuaded by the leading priests and elders to ask for Barabbas, who had raised an insurrection and committed murder - and to destroy Jesus, whose voice was never heard in their streets, and who had, during the space of three years and a half, gone about unweariedly, from village to village, instructing the ignorant, healing the diseased, and raising the dead. What a world!

• Matt 27:21 Crowds are fickle. They loved Jesus on Sunday because they thought he was going to inaugurate his Kingdom. Then they hated him on Friday when his power appeared broken. In the face of the mass uprising against Jesus, his friends were afraid to speak up. What a world! Love God, love people, but be careful how you place your trust in man. Learn to put all your trust in God, only He never fails.

• Matt. 27:22-23 "What shall I do with Jesus?" That's the key question for every person throughout history. Pilate had a choice to make right then. He could either stand up for what he knew was right, or he could follow the crowd and save his political skin. So, too, there are those who truly know in the bottom of their hearts that Jesus Christ is the only Way, even though the crowd all around them says, "Don't be so restrictive. Don't be so narrow. You don't want to be a fundamentalist do you?" Pilate got himself into the political fix and could not escape. May you escape every trap of the wicked in Jesus' name.

Father, in the name of Jesus, like a bird out of the snare, help me escape every trap of the wicked against me spiritually, emotionally, maritally and otherwise in Jesus' name! Ps 124:7-8
7 Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour that comes directly from God. I am special to Him, I am the object of His affection, I am the apple of His eyes, I am blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. Everyone and everything shall work to favour me. Angels Goodness and Mercy shall accompany me in all my ways. It is written with long life will God satisfy me and show me his salvation. Therefore, I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I declare over me and my household today that the yoke and burden of death over us is broken. So shall it be for me and my household today in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!
