Bikepacking the Tuscany Trail 2022 - Francigena, San Quirico d'Orcia, Pienza - The Bike Challenge

Day 4 was a less hilly but no less beautiful ride through the stunning Val D'Orcia and through Via Francigena with some decent single-track trails and under the cool shadows of the local woods.
Some gelato in Pienza, a few paninis in San Quirico d'Orcia, and off we went to find a camping spot for the night.

We pushed farther than we expected and just before the infamous Radicofani climb we had to call it a day near an abandoned house, under a welcoming bricks patio with a roof on top of our heads (and wolves howling in the distance).

A tiring and long day, but not one without views and good moments and food!
