Repotting a black berry plant.

This black berry plant needed to be repotted. The bottom was filled with rocks (for drainage) and a clay like soil. But no drainage holes. Show for this repotting we amended some soil that was on hand with some fertilizer and azomite. Then took the plant out of its original container and place it in the new one. I left space on the top to add mulch, container gardening causes the soil to dry out much faster than in the ground plantings. After we finished the potting the black berry went into an area that only receives about 5-7 hours of direct sunlight. Once the plant is in the new container for a week or so it will be moved into a new location.
