Scrap metal bench grinder stand

I have an old bench grinder I have used for several years. It has been sitting on my bench but I want to free up that space. I decided to take on old tire rim to use as the base and then either use a piece of two inch pipe or square metal tube. I had a piece of square metal tube from a tractor shipping frame I had disassembled. It was the perfect size in diameter so I just needed to put a metal plate on top and secure the bench grinder to the top.

The build on this took about two hours from start to finish and came out just as I had hoped.
