Tour of Vancouver and then a two day rail trip on the Rocky Mountaineer to Banff. Then a bus transfer to Calgary for the flight home.

After the trees were pushed down and cut from the stumps now you have to get rid of the stumps.

The tool box on the battery compartment door of the old cat loader needed repair. Removed the door, cut the bottom out of the tool box, cut, bent, and welded a new bottom to the box. Painted and put door back on loader.

A review of the controls on an old tract loader. Reviews gear shifter, throttle, gauges, ignition, turn off and battery disconnect. This old loader came from another farm to my farm so it still has a lot of good service left in it. I also have a channel on Rumble.com. Load Rumble and change to channel. This is a compilation of images for people involved in the build of an ADA ramp. This way they can share with their friends and family. There is a lady in out local community that is confined to a wheelchair. She has not been able to get out of her house on her own for about two years. It is interesting how this ADA ramp build came together. A friend of mine mention that there was a lady that needed a ramp. Me and a fellow that I know that designs and builds ramps for the local Baptist church went to survive the situation. It was determined that it would take at least fifty feet of ramp. The local chapter of the Lions Club was contacted and they donated the money for the lumber and supplies. Our church donated a sixteen foot section of ramp that was being stored plus money for food for the workers. Since this lady was the widow of a veteran our local American Legion was contacted for possible help in the build. Over three days the workers showed up and built an eighty four deck and ramp combination. We averaged FIFTEEN volunteer workers each day.

My utility trailer gate was heavy to close so I decided to cut it in half and add two more butt hinges. Now instead of one gate I have two gates and it much easier to close.

When you get tired of having to replace tee-jet sprayers it is time to convert to a boomless sprayer.

Welding casters to the bottom of a frame for a tube bender makes it easier to move around the shop. Sure beats having to drag it across the floor.

I had been watching this latest winter storm forming and it didn't look like it would be any fun. After snowing all day with intermittent bouts of sleet and freezing rain on the the snow, I knew this was definitely not going to be any fun. Thank goodness I had purchased the snow blade for the tractor a few years back. It took two days to clear because the wind would not stop blowing.

The fire pot I had welded lent itself to this star wars style fire pit. It is the style of the tie fighter in the movie. I guess it took about three to fours hours to weld up. Now on to my next project.

After welding the small fire pot I decided to expand that design and go for a bigger fire pit. This is made out of 1/8 inch steel and tubular legs. It is 16 1/2 inches across the base of the octagonal and 26 inches across at the top of the pit. I will probably end up selling this one and move on to building another one of a different design. Maybe a Star Wars Tie Fighter. Stay tuned as there will be more to come.

When you have a lady that has a hard time going up and down steps due to hip and knee problems, you help out. This lady needed a handrail on her front steps so for me it was a simple fix. I had a friend help with the measurements and layout and I did the cutting, welding, and painting.

Since the shop building was erected seven years ago, I regretted not adding a concrete pad to the entrance. I have a friend that got me hooked up with a guy that does concrete work for a local town. Hiring him to form the area and pour the concrete was a big cost savings.

I found a kit online for welding a fire pot, a small fire pit. This kit is to help you practice welding since there are numerous joints to weld up.

The old bulk sprayer had a tank cradle that had rusted over the years. I decided to replace it and the bottom tank connections. The new cradle was smaller and didn't have as much metal as the old one. After cutting out the old one it was just a matter of welding the new cradle to the frame.

I had a friend that had a large oak log cut down by the line crew that cleans the right away for the power company. He wanted to cut the log into slabs so he could make a bar out of a couple of pieces. I had another friend that had a portable bandsaw mill and I got the two together. As it turned out this one job turned into two additional jobs.

I had to redo my gooseneck hitch for the tractor to move the trailer in tight places. I didn't want to take a chance on the loader being damaged, so I cut that hitch off the loader bucket and redid everything.

I wanted a welder with a longer duty cycle than my multi process welder allowed so I thought about upgrading. I finally landed on the Lincoln Power Mig 260. It is a heavy machine weighing in at 260 pounds. It is definitely not a suitcase welder. It has the power to weld up to 1/2" mild steel.

With a new gooseneck trailer I will need to maneuver it in some tight places when I go to store it in a shed. Since I have a loader bucket I decided to add a receiver hitch to the top of the bucket. Check it out.

The left side of a brush cutter lower link pin connect has cracked so now it is time to fix it and make it stronger.

When I had my shop built I decided I only wanted two windows placed in the building. Now that I am welding I needed a couple smaller windows added for cross ventilation.
