In the latest installment of our metal shaping series "Building an E-Type Jaguar Bonnet in Aluminum" Wray cleans up the welds by grinding, then taking out any defects from the weld using a hammer and dolly. When everything on the surface is perfect Wray then takes the panel to the Shrinker / Stretcher and the gauge made from the original bonnet to ensure the panel fits the gauge. For the final test we place the original fender next to the bonnet and make sure that they both flow together.
