How to Replace Pressure Relief Valve #shorts

Phil shows you how to replace a pressure relief valve in a water heater.

I'm going to show you how to replace the pressure relief valve on a water heater that's electric. Shut your water off. Open up the valve on your sink. Go to your electric panel. Turn your breaker off, which would be a double thirty. Then put a water house on the bottom. Drain it the best you can, at least until you know it's below here.

Open this up. Which is the pressure relief valve handle, it is to come straight out. And then you take everything off the press release valve, and then you open this up. Put another one in reverse. Put that back together. Turn your water back on first, then turn your electric breaker on after you've got all the water out by holding this out.

Then you turn your breaker on last thing . Ta-Da
