The process was were he was made perfect: to be the primary representation of what it meant to be perfect in Christ, being 100% obedient to God, without sin, sacrificing Himself to God the Father, to satisfy God's requirement to pay for sin (to die in the place of the sinner).

June 9, 2024, Job 1:1-22, "Why do God's people experience bad things?" (Full)
Job 1:1, Job was a man who loved the Lord (but he was not without sin, for all things in the flesh on Earth are in the presence of sin)
Job 1:6, on a certain day in the 3rd heaven, angels (lowercase "sons of God") assembled before God, and the arch-nemesis also mingled amongst them
Isaiah 14:12-15, before Michael became the archangel, the original archangel was somebody else, mentioned by original name here (before he was given a new name that means "adversary"), and that person was cast out
Job 1:6, even though he lost his original home, he is still allowed to come and stand before God, for a time (like visitation rights). In Revelation, he will be permanently shut away from God.
Isaiah 14:13, the anti-Christ will attempt to sit on the throne of David, but the throne of David is only reserved for Christ
Luke 4, the other time God was directly confronted by the evil one
Job 1:6, angels had to come and report to God what they had done
Job 1:7, and the arch-nemesis tries to get God's attention. "From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."- again, explains how the serpent was able to confront Eve in the garden
Job 1:8-12, the serpent made another attempt to corrupt God's creation (a follow up from Eve and Adam), and challenged the reason why Job loved God
Job 1:14-22, etc, and it came to pass that Job lost everything, his friends contended against him (in a way), and his wife was tempted to convince Job to curse God
Job 1:20-22, Job's initial mourning (he did not curse God). Contrary to Adam, Job did not give up on God. Adam immediately blamed God for giving him Eve (who tempted him indirectly by the serpent), whereas Job did not blame God.
Matthew 5:45, the current status of God's goodness: 'he makes the sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.'
Habakkuk 2:4, definition of a just person: 'the just shall live by faith', or the humble man lives by faith whereas the proud man does not
Genesis 3:16-24, because of the fall of Adam and Eve, God declared onto them, how humans would live and die, how a wife and husband would live and die, why a wife and a husband will argue with each other, why the world (the environment, the weather, etc.) would work against them as they farmed the land, and why they would struggle to survive and raise children
Romans 8:20-22, saint Paul explained why humans are caught in the natural chaos and order of things, to remind the readers and listeners of the fallen creation, all the woes that came with it, but also of the glorious future what was to come
Revelation 21:4-5, the glorious future of God. All of fallen creation will be destroyed and replaced by a perfect creation, and therefore all the woes will be destroyed.
2 Peter 3:10, when fallen creation is destroyed, there will certainly be no sign or trace of all the evil inventions and schemes (man-made designs) that used to exist in the fallen world
John 16:33, Jesus Christ reminded his followers that they were presently free from the slavery of sin, though they were still trapped in the suffering world
Romans 8:18, saint Paul reminds us that being situated in a suffering world is only a temporary state
John 14:27, a person needs to have peace with God, before they can receive the peace of God: that is a person needs to be born again (renewed by Christ) to have the wrath of God taken away, and then they will receive His peace (and now only the wrath of the world remains, until a person is taken home by Christ)
Romans 8:35-36, there is no man made problem or worldly problem in nature great enough to overcome God's solution- what person or thing will separate people from God?
John 11:39-40, 'that if you would believe, you would see the glory of God?'
John 11:41, '[God], I thank you that you have heard me.'
John 11:43-44, as Lazarus rose from the dead, as Christ died and then was resurrected, those redeemed by God (born again believers) also have risen with the Lord
Romans 8:28, people's problems work for good: 'we know that all things work together for good to them that love God'
Philippians 3:7, things lost for Christ are not more valuable than all things gained for Christ

John 3:16, qualitative: 'for God so loved the world'
. answers the question: How can sinful man be reconciled to God?
. also answers the question: How can holy God be reconciled to sinful man?
[Jesus died because He first loved us (we did not first love Him).]
Galatians 2:20, 3 crosses past tense, and 1 cross present tense (at the time of salvation of the individual)
Romans 6:4-6, the new believer identifies with the death of Christ: crucified, buried, and raised with Him. From that point onward, an act of the will is implied. That is: if the believer will continue on in the righteousness of Christ ('henceforth we [SHOULD] not serve sin').
[Missing from the tomb.]

April 14, 2024, John 12:20-21, "We Would See Jesus" (Full)
[The rest of the world seeking the same God that Israel used to "see".]
John 12:20-21, certain Greeks had such a desire to see Jesus, that they came to the Passover feast with the Jews (normally non-Jews would not appear at the feast) asking/saying 'we [WOULD] see Jesus'.
Isaiah 42:6, God had appointed His chosen people to open the blind eyes of the rest of the world. However, they did not keep His covenant. They were supposed to be ministers with kingdom authority to the rest of the world (e.g. Gentiles). Nonetheless, God had a plan to save all of Israel and open the eyes of the rest of the world, so all would know God.
Isaiah 55:6, God is near when He has drawn people to Him (people do not naturally initiate the search). When the opportunity then becomes available from God, 'Seek ye the LORD while he may be found'.
Isaiah 55:9, God's ways are not man's ways. The law touches the intent of the heart, but the spiritual things are not perceived by normal senses.
Matthew 15:14, the wide road to nowhere and the leaders and followers in it. A ditch in the ground does not have a standard start or end, but a grave does.
John 1:29, 36, Jesus, the Lamb of God witnessed by John. The same Jesus, certain Greeks had desired to see.
John 2, 3, the manner in which the wine was made, and the manner in which a man became born again was a mystery to those who desired Jesus. As the existence of wind was evident, yet men do not perceive the wind with their eyes, likewise the mysteries of God were evident.
Matthew 8:1-13, Mark 6:30-44, John 8:1-11, John 11:1-44, some of the healing, caring, and redeeming works of Jesus Christ
John 11:45-57, the plot by the Pharisees therefore, to kill Jesus, since the people now desired the LORD more than they
Isaiah 42:6, God had appointed His chosen people to open the blind eyes of the rest of the world. However, they did not keep His covenant. Nonetheless, God had a plan to save all of Israel and open the eyes of the rest of the world, so all would know God.
[The opening of the eyes.]
2 Kings 6:17, the king of Syria wanted to kill the king of Israel, but the opportunity did not come expediently. Therefore, someone advised the king of Syria to attack the prophet Elisha instead. The eyes of Elisha's helper were opened after Elisha's prayers, and he saw the heavenly host.
2 Kings 6:18-23, Elisha also prayed for the attacking army's eyes to be closed and then opened, so that they would be led away in peace into the hand of the king of Israel. A type of captivity was illustrated here: there was no need to kill what was taken captive, and the captors had power to provide bread and water. 'So the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel'.
[The conflict.]
Ephesians 6:12, the price of spiritual freedom: spiritual warfare. The enemy revealed.
2 Corinthians 2:11, the high ground against the enemy.
2 Timothy 3:13, the increasing persecution.
Ephesians 6:13-18, the setup of a soldier.
Ephesians 6:10-18, God has equipped all believers.

April 7, 2024, Mark 5:24-34, "Has He Touched You Lately?" (Full)
Mark 5:24-34, this woman's issue of her blood made her an outcast from society.
Leviticus 15:25, a woman with an issue of her blood was declared unclean for ceremonial reasons, was excluded from the synagogue, and was shunned from family and society, until the issue was resolved
Mark 5:26, this woman spent all she had seeking a cure, and none was found. Jesus was and is the high priest, but in those times, with its customs, this woman had to go through a sort of priesthood in order to reach God.
Mark 5:27, until she heard about Jesus Christ, the great physician and healer of the soul.
Mark 5:27-28, Numbers 15:38, the woman touched the fringe of the borders ('touch [the hem of] his clothes'). In the Mosaic law, reaching for the fringe of the borders was obedience to God- 'remember all the commandments of God'. In this act, she was going to find salvation by grace.
Colossians 2:14, Christ fulfilled (nailed) the Mosaic law on the cross. Today the moral law still stands.
Mark 5:27-28, there was something that made Jesus stand out from the crowd and other physicians
Mark 5:27, she gave up her dignity, made her way through the crowd, and reached out to God. Today believers touch the Lord through prayer.
Matthew 7:7-8, ask, seek, knock- a promise from God.
Matthew 11:28-30, God's invitation to ask, seek, and knock on the door
Mark 5:33, her healing also led to her humility.
Isaiah 57:15, James 4:10, 1 Peter 5:6, humbling oneself before God and casting all of one's care on Him
Mark 5:30-33, after her healing, attention was now focused on her, to reveal who touched Jesus
Mark 5:30, 'virtue had gone out of him': God's ability on the human side to work miracles. A supernatural power went forth from Him and went into the woman.
Jeremiah 1:5, God already knew the future of the woman from eternity past, knew the event would have been recorded in the book of Mark, and knew people today would read about it
Matthew 23:12, a humbling experience. If the woman had come to God in pride, surely there would have been no healing.
Mark 5:34, Jesus Christ healed her of her affliction. The Greek construction of this verse implied 2 things:
. she was completely healed of her blood issue
. she was completely saved by grace
Psalm 147:3, the brokenhearted are healed
Mark 5:24-34, the woman is like us (all people, all sinners), and her affliction is like sin (all sinners had sin)
Isaiah 64:6, what makes sinners unclean is their sin
Isaiah 64:6, Mark 5:24-34, Isaiah 1:18, Jesus taking the sin, nailing it to the cross, and clothing the believer in righteousness
Psalm 25:6-7, Psalm 103:10-12, Micah 7:19, God casting away all the sin
Psalm 116:1-2, Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, the wages of sin are death. The result of uncontrolled blood loss is eventually death. God will have to take sin to the cross, pay the penalty in full, and then give robes of righteousness.

March 30, 2024, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "Love Flowed The Color Of Red", (Full)
1 Corinthians 15:3-4, the Gospel is the Good News, from Calvary, to salvation by grace, being born again, the eternal security of the believer, and the future, etc. Here in these verses, the Gospel appears again. If anyone asks what the Gospel is, these verses can certainly help. Some items that appear directly or indirectly here:
. God is love (otherwise it would make no sense for Him to save the world), he died for sinners according to the scriptures, and rose on the 3rd day according to scriptures
. God brought salvation into the world, and those who accept and acknowledge Him therefore, will be saved
. the first fruits: Christ was the first resurrection of the first resurrection (those who are in the first resurrection with Christ, will be safe from the second resurrection mentioned in Revelation)
Genesis 3:7, 21, the first mention of the blood atonement (someone had to die and have their blood shed, for coats of skins to be made to cover Adam and Eve's sin).
Hebrews 9:22, The wages of sin is death. Shedding of blood is required by the law, otherwise there is NO remission of sins.
John 3:16, the quality of God's love: there is no sin that Jesus Christ cannot cover.
Isaiah 53:1-6, Jesus Christ's act of love foretold in the Old Testament.
1 Corinthians 13:4-13, Love (appears as "charity" in some older English translations). 3 words used for "Love" in scripture:
. eros (ἔρως, érōs) (example: erotic)
. phileo (φιλία, philía) (example: brotherly love)
. agape (ἀγάπη, agápē) (example: Godly love)
John 21:15-17, agape love is mentioned here ('do you love me?', 'lovest thou me?'). Simon Peter's first, second, and third response to Jesus's 3 questions was phileo. Jesus Christ's first 2 questions were actually 'do you agape me?', and His 3rd question then became 'do you phileo me?', signifying at this time Peter did not catch onto Jesus' question. According to history, by the time Peter and his wife were executed, he had matured into agape love for Jesus Christ.
John 3:16, 1 John 4:16, not only did God love, He himself is love
1 John 4:9-10, the object of God's love became the believer. Jesus Christ became the mercy seat- He appeased God the Father (God the Father was angry with people all the time due to their never ending sin) by shedding His (the Son) blood on the cross (Jesus became the object of God-the-Father's anger on the cross). Then the temple veil was torn down (before only the high priest could enter).
1 John 4:19, God first loved the believer- He instigated Christ's work. It was never possible for people to love God, unless God first loved people.
1 Peter 4:8, God's love covers sin.
Romans 5:8, Jesus Christ died for sinners, because of God's love.
Colossians 2:13-15, certificate of indebtedness was taken away and nailed to the cross (paid in full). God's forgiveness is and was complete.
1 Corinthians 13:4-6, selflessness versus selfishness, or: "I need you because I love you" (mature love) versus "I love you because I need you" (immature love)
John 3:16, love GIVES and it does not take: for God so loved the world He gave...
Ephesians 2:8, love was GIVEN by God
Ephesians 2:4-5, love initiates action. The riches of God's love and mercy quickens believers.
1 Corinthians 13:13, 7-8, love triumphs all and never fails. God is love. God never fails. So love never fails.
1 Corinthians 17:34, the Lord's supper.
