Took us 4 days to get this deep into the creek bed. Had to build a damn to hold back the water . We hit bedrock and got some AU-some gold ! Blackhawk Colorado gold camp !

We opened up our hole last weekend using a high banker . Decided to bust out the dredge this trip and try to get to some bedrock . Here is my setup . The gold getter !

Caught this beauty in the gold dredge . After running a few hours we then do a Cleanout and save all the concentrates to clean up later in a cleanup sluice then final pan to get all the gold separated from the black sands and heavies

The v-matting allows the gold to drop down out of the current and the water washes away the lighter material to leave super cons ! This is the second to last process of cleaning the gold Concentrates . This is what I get after running all weekend .

Made some cuc12 with 1 gallon of hcl and 20ml of Hydrogen peroxide and a couple pieces of copper pipe to kick off the reaction then I added my gold plated pins from ultrasound equipment . About 2 weeks and all the gold will fall off the copper base as the base metal is being resolved by the solution

Last reaction is over - dissolving all the copper into solution so we are left with the pure platinum metals ! Long process but it was worth it and seemed to pay off in the end . Platinum refining is the hardest metal to refine as it takes the most powerful Aqua Regina acid to be able to corrode the platinum to dissolve it . Very dangerous platinumousis is incurable and causes eyes -ears to bleed and skin . Lung damage etc do not try without proper training !!!
