I’ll keep adding copper powder copper salts to the solution as long as it’s still reacting and precipitating or cementing the platinum palladium rhodium out of solution. Almost there . One more reaction after this and we will ha e pure PM’s in a salt form . Ready to be smelted into a couple bars . Should be around 3 ounces out platinum 14 grams of palladium and about 10 grams of rhodium .

Slow process filtering off this acid solution . We are refining PM metals . The most dangerous gases and refining there is pretty much . Platinosis is no joke ! Platinum in solution is very dangerous and not worth the risk for most ! Stay tuned

We dredged the claim the other day and came up on some good micro gold ! It adds up as you can see in this pan . Couple nice flakes . I ran cons once . Should be 1/8 or so more gold in the cons . I’ll rerun in the cleanup sluice again to make sure I didn’t leave any gold in the magnetite magnetic black sands .. gold mining the Rocky Mountains .

My buddy Clyde and I out metal detecting the overland trail and pony express for civil war relics and treasures. I’m running the minelab equinox 800 and my partner is using the Garrett at-pro .. we found some awesome relics .

The hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride gases still reacting with the substrate . Still few days left . You can see the solution is turning red as is dissolves the platinum metal groups .

We will miss him but went to a great home .. couldn’t be happier !!!! He was fun playing with .. great pup !! Can’t wait to see how he turns out
