J On The Spectrum - Disney's 100th Anniversary - The Beginning
Disney's 100th anniversary is this year, and to celebrate, I'm going to tell the story of this legendary animation company over a yearlong period.
We start at the beginning, with Walt Disney, Walter Elias Disney, who was born on December 5, 1901. The beginnings of Disney can be traced back to Walt's love for newspaper comic strips and art, as well as a chance meeting with a fellow art studio colleague named Ub Iwerks, who suggested they could go into business together. If Walt and Roy had not met Ub Iwerks, Disney wouldn't have been possible.
A few more details about the very beginning of Disney are discussed in this video.
Next week, Walt Disney creates his first cartoon character, then loses him.

J On The Spectrum - How Autistic People View Holidays (Guest Star: My Dad)
Hello everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
This is my first J On The Spectrum episode outside the Zoom meetings and my usual spot, taking a stroll on location at Lights of Joy in Kennesaw, GA.
Lights of Joy actually got featured one time on ABC's show Christmas Light Fight. This is more epic than any lights setup I'll be able to do in my lifetime.
In this episode, I ask about how autistic people might perceive holidays differently than some other people, and talk with Dad about our favorite holiday traditions.
More information about Lights of Joy can be found here: https://www.lightsofjoy.net/

Jordan White - LIVE REACTION to Project Tiger Moth - The Good Old Days - Thomas Fan Made Model Ep
Thomas the Tank Engine was quite literally my childhood during the 90s and the early 2000s. I had a hard time getting interested in anything else when I was really big into the show. What exactly do the people behind Sesame Street, Blue's Clues, and the heirs to Mister Rogers' Neighborhood think about Thomas the Tank Engine?
That's why I'm excited to do a live reaction to a fanmade labor of love over 2 years in the making of a brand-new Model Series episode in the old style. Not the CGI or Toon Boom tweened animation of Thomas that we see today.
Credits to @flyingpringle1000 for making this. I honestly believe that when his crew starts getting really good at this, they should do VFX for movies and TV shows. Cinema is hurting right now, and some movie magic can definitely make things better.
It wasn't the same kind of reaction I would have had if I was only 7-8 years old, but I'm glad @flyingpringle1000 helped create this. Good job, man! You've done me proud!

Mattel owns Thomas, not me. All rights for Thomas are owned by them.

Roaring Bear - A 3Point Animation Short - Directed by Jordan White
After 2 1/2 years of approvals and such, our first ever animated short, Roaring Bear, is finally complete, viewable on YouTube starting today.
Roaring Bear is the story of a Native American ghost that haunts the Southern Appalachian mountains between the border of North Georgia and South North Carolina, and how a tragedy caused the land to be cursed by that ghost.
Based on one of my father's campfire stories, the endeavor to make this short started in May 2020, and we worked on this short on and off, getting the storyboards and animation done over the course of a pandemic. Now, after final approval, plus just in time for Halloween, Roaring Bear is ready for your pre or post trick or treat scares.
Happy Halloween!
FUN FACT: The person that did the animation for the last part of the short worked as an effects animator on Dreamworks' Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron from 2002. Coincidentally, that film also had Native Americans in it.

J On The Spectrum - The Train Builder that Built My Childhood (Guest Star: David Payne)
Crucial to my early childhood development as a person on the autism spectrum, one show reigned over them all: Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.
The Classic Series of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, which used model trains and miniature effects instead of animation, had a distinguishable effect on learning many crucial human emotions and in some cases, persevering and excelling in my career. Since it was just a narrator talking and everyone's face stood still and had zero movement, but the narrator says how the character is feeling, I learned emotions at such an early age and wouldn't have gotten by through grade school so easily if I didn't grow up with Thomas.
Today, I have the privilege of talking to one of the very people that helped out with the decision to make Thomas the way it was instead of being a cartoon like everyone else. David Payne is a British special effects supervisor who built all the model trains and their movements for the first two seasons of the show. Afterwards for the rest of the classic series run, David Mitton was in charge of the operation. Thomas was made in the UK and not in the United States because the stories that Thomas was based on were written by a British man named Rev. W. Awdry, intended to entertain his son Christopher, and the books themselves, The Railway Series, were distributed in the UK. When the show became a hit, Thomas went global, which is how I discovered Thomas in the US back in the 90s when I was just a toddler.
When I say special effects, I don't mean done with computers, I mean tangible illusions like a magician with a slight of hand. David has worked on 4,000 commercials, some of them meant to be run in America. He now is semi-retired, sometimes building stuff for commercials and art installations, other times he's now an ice dancer.

J On The Spectrum - #AnimationIsForEveryone (Guest Star: Jerry Rees)
In light of the Oscars, Netflix, and now Warner Bros Discovery taking a dump all over the art of animation, I want to show that #AnimationIsForEveryone and #AnimationIsNotNothing. Part of my fascination for animation is that I tend to enjoy the oddball obscurities or really old stuff people have a tendency to overlook or forget. One of these little cult classics had the potential to change animation but it didn't quite turn out that way. It's called The Brave Little Toaster, I know some of you have heard of it, and today's guest is the director of that film, Jerry Rees.
In this episode, we find out how despite being initially rejected by Disney, the film ended up getting made anyway because it was made independently, along with a few other behind the scenes facts. Jerry agrees with me, but surprisingly, who also agreed with me that animation would be for everyone is Gary Kurtz, producer of Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back. Gary worked with Jerry in the early 1980s to bring an animated feature version of Michael Eisner's The Spirit to the big screen which would combine CG backgrounds with 2D animation. Every exec rejected the idea when they heard it was animated. However, an indie producer heard about Jerry's little film producing stigma and wanted him to make an animated feature out of the small novella known as The Brave Little Toaster, and only gave him a small budget, tight schedule, but complete freedom to work with. Jerry and the crew made the best animated film they could on such a tiny budget of $2.25 million at a time when Disney animated features cost north of $20 million. No micromanagement needed.
Back in the old days of animation, it was either go big or go home. Today, you can go big AT home, but skills are still needed, which is more valuable than money.

Sesame Street 847 - The Lost Wicked Witch Episode
This is the main plot of the episode without any of the letter and number segments.
Not seen in 46 years, this long-lost episode of Sesame Street was leaked by an anonymous donor on June 18, 2022 on archive.org, but to make it easier for everyone, I'm placing this episode up on YouTube for everyone to view. It's so special because this episode aired only once and never seen again until now. It was pulled from broadcast because they believed it was "too scary for kids". After seeing the episode, and knowing about all horrid stuff that kids are exposed to nowadays such as Stranger Things or shows rated TV-MA, the question is, how scary is too scary?
The major plot of the episode involves the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz losing her broom and landing on Sesame Street. The Wicked Witch is played by Margaret Hamilton (who played the Wicked Witch in the 1939 MGM classic, The Wizard of Oz). She tries to get her broom back, but she can't have it unless she learns to ask politely to have it back, for the sake of getting back to Oz.
For all lovers of obscure shows, lost media, or anything that is banned by any given party because of that party's wild beliefs, this is for you!
Sesame Street was brought to you by the letter W, W for Witch, and the number 46, 46 for the number of years this episode has been lost.

The Three Stooges - Disorder in the Court (1936) 4K
The only Three Stooges short with Curly in it that is in the public domain, and one of the most quotable and beloved shorts that the Three Stooges did at Columbia, this copy of Disorder in the Court from 1936 is the highest quality copy of this short that's you'll find on YouTube or anywhere online.
Sony released a 4K Blu-ray set of a number of 4K remastered Columbia Classics, and one of the special features on that 4K Blu-ray was Disorder in the Court in 1080p. I found one YouTube video that had this short in true 1080p, downloaded it, fed it to Topaz Video Enhance AI with the Artemis Medium Quality Model v13, and uploaded to YouTube. This was how I was able to remaster the public domain Three Stooges short Disorder in the Court in 4K.
Plot: The boys, Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard are witnesses at a trial revolving around the murder of Kirk Robin at the Black Bottom Cafe, defending dancer Gail Tempest. Their usual schtick makes it hard for the jury to get their verdict out, thus creating "disorder in the court".
So many great moments in this short!
Curly: I'm a victim of circumstance!
Moe: You're in the court, not the woods, Tarzan!
Prosecutor: Take off your hat, raise your right hand, now put your left hand here!
Curly: Vernacular? That's a derby!!
Woman on Jury: Broad Lane, 9972, after 5 o'clock.
Parrot: Oh, what a night!
Moe: Here's twosies! Here's fivesies!

Jordan White - My Evening with Mark Acheson (aka Tirek from MLP and the Mail Room Guy from Elf)
10 years after I walked into a McDonald's and unboxed 2012 My Little Pony toys, I sit down with an actor who played one of the villains on the show, Lord Tirek. His name is Mark Acheson. His best-known bit role outside of being a voice actor for cartoons is playing the mail room guy in Elf whom buddy befriends, gives him the idea of putting syrup in coffee, wanted to get out of the flow, claimed he was 26 (but he didn't look like it), and was so enthusiastic about Buddy dancing to "Whomp (There It Is)" by Tag Team.
Interesting tidbits about not only My Little Pony, but also Elf, along with other cartoons he has done. I had this meeting for the purpose of wrapping up Women's history month because My Little Pony G4 was created by a woman, shattered expectations of what a cartoon targeted towards prepubescent girls should be, and also created an unexpected audience of college aged guys back in the 2010s.
Happy Autism Awareness Day, everypony!!

Burgermeister Meisterburger and Pinky (from Pinky and the Brain) ponder
Special thanks to Rob Paulsen (the voice of Pinky from Pinky and the Brain), and @Camtoonist Productions for supplying this wonderful animatic of an idea I improved when I was reciting word for word the Rankin Bass Christmas and holiday special Santa Claus is Comin' to Town from 1970.
I always felt Pinky would do a good job serving Burgermeister Meisterburger if Brain was giving him such a hard time over at Acme Labs.
This is not an AI voice synthesizer, this is the actual voice actor contributing his talents to this effort.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer reads The Christmas Story
Thanks to today's modern technology, I can make Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer say anything I want. This is my first video using AI voice synthesis, so if you're gonna do something like this for the first time, you better choose your words carefully. Turns out I didn't. I had Rudolph read The Christmas Story from Luke 2:1-20 in the KJV translation of the Bible, the real reason why we celebrate Christmas, the true meaning of Christmas. Don't forget that.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!! I pray that in 2022 we'll see us finally ditch masks in public and we won't have to worry about this COVID thing anymore.

The MANA II NEXT GEN PC - RTX 3090 - INTEL 12900K - 64GB RAM - 2TB PCIe 4 SSD - The Christmas Build
The MANA II. My new computer. Why is it that I always seem to get what I need and in some cases, what I want at just the right place at just the right time when it is hard for other people to get what I just got here? I think it has to do with my faith. God promises that He'll provide for every need for the people on this Earth according to His timing. It took me 6 1/2 years to get this computer, loaded with one part that's in seriously short supply, the NVIDIA RTX 3090, something that is hard to get because of supply chain issues worldwide. Whereas gamers gamble, scrape, and overpay for this, I do the old-fashioned trick of simply being patient. Maybe patience is a virtue, and holding on to devices until they wear out is a good idea, and better for God's Creation. Either way, I consider myself blessed and super thankful that I have what I need to afford an infrequent big purchase on something I use everyday. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!

Jordan White - An American Tail (1986) 35th Anniversary Panel with T. Daniel Hofstedt (Animator)
Steven Spielberg's first foray into the animation field turns 35 this year, and since he's more of a producer than a director as people were coming to him to get ideas made back in the 1980s, he turned to Disney veteran Don Bluth for the directing duties, as he was bringing back the classic style that Disney ditched, and Don Bluth's success started to get people noticing, so Don Bluth's second film was An American Tail with Steven Spielberg.
Don Bluth was not taking interviews, John Pomeroy was teaching an all day masterclass on the same day, I didn't know if Gary Goldman would respond, and Mark Christiansen only freelanced on the film for a few months. Instead, I'm talking to character animator T. Daniel Hofstedt, and this was his first big feature film break. Time does fly for him, and he did offer some excellent lessons that can apply to more than just an animation career. He was able to double check his animation on analog tape based systems without digital assistance before people started using digitizer tablets for animation, or in layman's terms, CG.
He also is a teacher of animation himself.
Spielberg's first entry in the animation art form may as well have been one of the seeds that the Disney Renaissance of the 1990s and later, Dreamworks. It showed that a non-Disney produced feature could deliver heart and warmth and emotion just as well as the Mouse House themselves, and to execs, bigger box office returns.

I replaced Donald Trump in Home Alone 2 with myself!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays 2021!!
Using amateur VFX and an odd circumstance where there was no dialogue or sound effects in the shot, I replaced Donald Trump, the former US President, with myself in this shot from Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.
The reason Trump is in Home Alone is that the Plaza Hotel was a property owned by the Trump Organization, and if you wanted to film on a Trump owned property, you needed to give Donald Trump a cameo in the film.
I did this because Macaulay Culkin called for Trump's cameo to be removed from the film after the January 6 Capitol riots earlier this year. Well, Mac, I did what you wanted, so are you happy?
I have better hair and a much more handsome boyish face than Donald Trump.
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is owned by Disney/20th Century Studios

Jordan White - My Little Pony G5: A New Generation TRAILER REACTION - Equestrian Pie
I'm the brony that went into McDonalds 10 years ago and made a video about it!
A touching song about harmony and friendship before the trailer, then the trailer, and finally why I seem to have dissed myself so hard over the past 6-7 years. Too much fire talk on the Internet right now.
My Little Pony: Friendship WAS Magic?
Please tell me if an elderly Mane 6 character will make an appearance. Now it's the Mane 5, led by somepony named Sunny Starkist, I believe the name is.
How can I get used to these characters? How can I break the spell of division in this movie and in real life? I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and I'm praying to God that He'll fix so much of this, even controlling the people who are in control.
Once a G4 brony, always a G4 brony.
