Jordan White - My Evening with Mark Acheson (aka Tirek from MLP and the Mail Room Guy from Elf)

10 years after I walked into a McDonald's and unboxed 2012 My Little Pony toys, I sit down with an actor who played one of the villains on the show, Lord Tirek. His name is Mark Acheson. His best-known bit role outside of being a voice actor for cartoons is playing the mail room guy in Elf whom buddy befriends, gives him the idea of putting syrup in coffee, wanted to get out of the flow, claimed he was 26 (but he didn't look like it), and was so enthusiastic about Buddy dancing to "Whomp (There It Is)" by Tag Team.

Interesting tidbits about not only My Little Pony, but also Elf, along with other cartoons he has done. I had this meeting for the purpose of wrapping up Women's history month because My Little Pony G4 was created by a woman, shattered expectations of what a cartoon targeted towards prepubescent girls should be, and also created an unexpected audience of college aged guys back in the 2010s.
