This video simply shows my finished results from the excavator week. I put in 4 culvert pipes just in time for some rainy days ahead. It's a little tough to see with the sun shining through but hopefully you can see things. I'll do another video on a cloudy day to really get a better video.

This is the final day for my excavator rental. I thought I might never get it all done. I installed two 12 inch double walled plastic culverts, one 10 inch, and one 15 inch. Hopefully it's enough to do the trick..

Day 4 of my excavator rental weekend. We finished digging the ditch and put in one culvert pipe at the bottom of the hill. Wade pushed over a few trees with his skid steer also. He was a huge help getting this work done.

This is day 3 footage from my excavator week. I'm pretty sure this is all day 3 stuff but there may be some day 4 sprinkled in. Anyway, I appreciate all the help from my friends and family. The mini excavator did the trick to dig my ditch but this was definitely a long project. More footage still to come.

On day 2 with the mini-excavator, I spent all day digging around stumps and trees in order to get them off the edge of my driveway. After cutting a few down first, we decided to leave them tall and push them after digging around them. This proved to be much quicker. It didn't seem like I was going to get anywhere as I never really started moving down the hill on day 2 but these trees had to be removed. More videos to come so be sure to check them out.

Finishing up the brush cleanup!! Next up, digging a ditch and putting in some corrugated pipes for water flow.

Day 1 of the ditch project. I rented this mini-excavator and I'm just getting started. I have about 2 tenths of a mile to dig. This is just the first 2 hrs. Took me a bit to get the handle down but I'm getting there.

Finishing up the brush burning and tree cutting. I think maybe one more day and I'll be done with this step in the process.

I spent the day cutting firewood, stacking it and burning up the brush.Hopefully I will be cutting the stumps down to the ground soon.

Kim got in a nice 5 mile run in the winter wonderland conditions today.

Kim ran 8 miles and I condensed it to 2:30! Enjoy

This is day 2 of tree work on this huge tree. This is the easier trunk to take down. The rest will not be so easy.

Cleanup is going well. I can't wait until I get to move on to the next phase of the driveway construction.

We're taking down this huge tree and doing it a little at a time. I'm climbing with tree gaffs, a climbing rope line, harness, and cable rope. This is the first day of the project that may take us several days to get done. They won't be consecutive days but as we can throughout the winter.

I spent 5 hours cutting wood on Christmas Eve. Made some huge progress. I wasn't able to show it all because I didn't have enough storage on my devices but this is still a neat time lapse.

🎄Thought our 9 foot tree wasn't big enough so got a new one.

We loaded up some logs on a trailer for a friend so he can have them milled. Then my dad pushed over a dead tree.

Made some huge progress today. Won't be long and I'll be cutting done more trees down along the south side of the driveway. Then I'm going to rent an excavator to dig a ditch and dig out some stumps.

We're making some more progress but it's starting to feel like a never-ending project.

We are making some huge progress on cleaning up around the driveway. About 1/10 of a mile to go. That means we are 5/6th of the way done with cleanup.
