Ducks and Blueberries on a Regenerative Farm | Parc Carreg Duck Eggs
In this clip, Josh and Abi Heyneke from Parc Carreg Organic Duck Eggs in Wales, the United Kingdom, are our hosts. The method used by Parc Carreg, a regenerative farm that focuses on much more than simply duck eggs, to growing healthy food from the soil is very inspiring. We learn all about the advantages of ducks over chickens in wet environments, the function that their small flock of sheep plays in maintaining the boundaries, the fact that goose meat may be the most regenerative meat available, the difficulties of building such a specialized business, and much more. Optimize The Production of Lambs from Fodder Beet
Autumn is a challenging time of year to complete, or even run, lambs because of the dry weather. Link Farms Ltd.'s Scott Linklater has been testing if raising lambs on fodder beet can increase production and profit (with hay, to ensure the lambs have a balanced diet). A Beef + Lamb New Zealand Innovation Farm project—previously known as a "Demonstration Farm" project—is conducting the trial. Our website, http://beeflambnz.com/news-events/eve, has further details.

Bird of 100 eyes
Great Argus or in its scientific name Argusianus argus is one of the birds found in the Phasianidae tribe. The Great Argus population is spread across Southeast Asia. This species is found in the tropical forests of Sumatra, Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia.
During the breeding season, male birds show off their wing and tail feathers in front of the female birds. The wing feathers are opened to form a fan, showing "hundreds of eyes" in front of their partner. The two main feathers are present on the one meter long tail. When the bird flaps its wings, these long feathers appear to form a giant fan up to 140 cm high. On the wings, dots will appear like hundreds of small eyes that make the body look so beautiful. That is why Great Argus is nicknamed "Bird of 100 Eyes". The species' binomial name was given by Carolus Linnaeus, based on the hundred-eyed giant named Argus in Greek mythology.

Quince Trees: How to Grow Them From Seed
Quince Trees: How to Grow Them From Seed Of course, you could go to a nursery and get a quince seedling, but what fun is that? We frequently make great quince preserves from the fruit of my sister's magnificent quince tree, which she has in her garden. I wondered whether I could plant quince trees from seed instead of going to her place to get fruit. It turns out that hardwood cuttings, layering, and seed-grown quince are all viable methods of propagation. Are you considering starting quince fruit from seeds? Continue reading to learn how to develop a quince tree from seed and how long it takes for a quince tree to grow after the seed germination.

Backyard orchard culture, fruit orchard farming
Backyard orchard culture: fruit orchard farming I'm going you to an orchard near Arthi River today. It's a dry area, for those of you who don't know the region. meaning extremely dry with little to no rainfall. Mwangi the Farmer maintains a 120-acre fruit plantation with more than 100 different varieties of fruit trees despite the severe weather. Oranges, pixels, mangoes, tangerines, grapes, pawpaw, Hass avocados, pomegranates, apples—the list is endless—are among the fruits you may find. In addition, he cultivates native veggies as well as crops including red bulb onions, French beans, eggplant, spinach, and kale. Simply put, we might say that this is the Garden of Eden located outside of Nairobi.

Outstanding, top-notch tomato farm in the world
The tomato is an edible berry that grows on the Solanum lycopersicum plant, sometimes referred to as the tomato plant. Western South America and Central America are where the species first appeared. The Spanish term tomate, from which the English word tomato descended, was derived from the Nahuatl word tomatl, which was the language of the Aztecs. It's possible that Mexico's indigenous peoples are responsible for its domestication and usage as a cultivated food. At the time of the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire, the Aztecs employed tomatoes in their cuisine, and the Spanish introduced the tomato plant to Europe after coming into touch with the Aztecs and seeing the tomato for the first time. During the 16th century, the tomato was spread from there to other European-colonized regions of the world.

Awesome!!! The World's Biggest Avocado Plantation, Avocado Packaging
Persea americana, a tree that probably originated in southcentral Mexico, is a member of the Lauraceae genus of flowering plants. The fruit of the plant, commonly known as an avocado (or avocado pear or alligator pear), is a huge berry with a single, sizable seed that is classified as a berry in botany. In order to preserve predictable fruit quality and quantity, avocado trees, which are largely self-pollinating, are frequently propagated by grafting.

This is what horse-powered, mob-grazing regenerative farming looks like.
I choose at least five different kinds of grasses that are within arm's reach. It has been at least 7 years since any fertilizer, whether synthetic or made from composted farmyard manure, was utilized. Small business Zwartbles Ireland is based on a farm in County Kilkenny, Ireland. We cultivate in harmony with nature since we are a regenerative farm. Healthy environments depend on healthy soils. finding horses from Franches-Montagnes at the bio Ferme Under the Neuvevie, Doubs Park
We stopped at a farm (www.sous-la-neuvevie.ch) close to Saignelégier as we passed the parc du Doubs to see a unique breed of horse and hear about their agricultural methods. The Franches-Montagnes horse breed, which is unique in that it is the only Swiss horse breed with local origins, was introduced to us by Thierry, who co-manages the farm with his friend Brigitte. They are friendly, adaptable horses that respond well to riding and harnessing. The Rhaetian gray cow, a breed that is now endangered, was one of the numerous animals on their farm that Thierry discussed with us. The Ferme sur la Neuvevie is dedicated to bio farming and operating as circularly as possible in addition to maintaining rare animal breeds. Thierry took us on a tour of the farm before taking us onto a neighbouring field to see their horses up close. These creatures were quite friendly and prodded us for stroking and petting. They are not only good-natured by nature, but also as a result of the affection and attention they have received from their owners. This film was made by the fair traveler ambassador Katie while on the 2019 Swiss Fair Crawl, an electric bike trip made possible by our partner Swiss Parks (www.parks.swiss) Find all #fairspots we visited on our platform www.thefairtraveller.org More information about the bike route : Plus d'information sur l'itinéraire vélo : Mehr Informationen zum Fahrradweg : www.larouteverte.ch
