2022 Cadillac Escalade - Exterior and interior Details (luxury large SUV)
Cadillac Escalade 2021
Starting from: $77,790
The advantages are a high-tech cabin, respectively, a high-class, fearless V-8 engine.
The downsides are the eye-popping price, the big gasoline craving, the improved GMC version and the Chevy siblings are almost as good.
Verdict Buyers who view the Escalade as a status symbol will be thrilled with Cadillac's flagship SUV of the latest generation.
Review
A long time ago, in the late 1990s, General Motors installed a Cadillac radiator grille on a GMC Yukon - and the rest is history. The 2021 Cadillac Escalade will be the fifth generation of the model, and this new one is head and shoulders above the original in terms of luxury, style and technology. Borrowing elements of the 2016 Escala concept car, the new Escalade offers a visual effect worthy of its price. Two engines are offered - the familiar 6.2-liter eight-cylinder engine and a new inline six-cylinder turbodiesel connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Inside, a series of smart curved OLED displays brings the Escalade dashboard into the digital realm, serving as a dashboard and infotainment display in one elegant node.
What's new in 2021? The
2021 Escalade has undergone a thorough redesign with a new independent rear suspension, more advanced interior technologies, a more beautiful style and a new optional diesel engine.
Prices and which one to buy
Luxury: $77,790
Premium Suite: $84790
Sports: $87,490
Premium Luxury Platinum: 101,290 dollars
Sport Platinum: $102,190
To truly decorate the Escalade in its best features, choose a Premium Luxury Platinum finish. It adds semi-aniline leather, 16-parameter adjustable front seats with massage, soft-closing doors and an AKG audio system with 36 speakers. It also comes standard with self-parking function, projection display and adaptive cruise control.
Engine, transmission and performance
Cadillac's largest SUV is equipped with either a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that develops 420 horsepower and can turn off half the cylinders while driving to save fuel, or a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine. A 10-speed automatic transmission will be standard for both engines, and buyers will be able to choose between rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive depending on their individual needs. Like its siblings, the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon, the Escalade 2021 now rides on a brand new platform with independent rear suspension that provides a smoother ride. Higher-end models also offer air suspension with adaptive shock absorbers, which use computer-controlled shock absorbers. On our test track, the Escalade ESV with a long wheelbase and a V-8 engine accelerated to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. The diesel engine sounds less refined than the V-8, but for some buyers, such a compromise is worth the improved fuel economy and torque at low revs.
Fuel economy and fuel consumption in real conditions
The EPA's fuel economy estimates for the 2021 Escalade are lower than those of the 2020 model -at least for those equipped with the 6.2-liter V-8. The rear-wheel drive examples are rated at 15 miles per gallon in the city, 20 miles per gallon on the highway, and 17 miles per gallon combined; adding four-wheel drive reduces each of these numbers by 1 mile per gallon. The 2020 model had ratings of up to 23 miles per gallon on the highway, and the Escalade's key competitor, the Lincoln Navigator, also offers more efficient ratings. The choice of a turbodiesel engine should matter, but estimates for this model have not yet been published. We look forward to testing both transmissions on our 200-mile highway to test fuel economy.
Interior, comfort and cargo
As the flagship of the Cadillac line, the Escalade 2021 raises the stakes on luxury in the cabin. The basic Luxury finish uses artificial leather, but all other finishes get real pleasure, and Platinum models have soft semi-aniline leather. Leather dashboard and door panels, aluminum speaker grilles and adjustable interior lighting create a luxurious look. Like the previous model, both a standard and a long-wheelbase model are offered, the latter of which gives more legroom to third-row drivers and additional cargo space.
Infotainment system and communication
In addition to the extra luxury features in the cabin, Cadillac completely tricked Escalade in the electronics department

2022 Bentley Flying Spur - Exterior and Interior Details (Ultra-luxury sedan)
Bentley Flying Spur 2022
Starting from: US$ 200,000
Pros Luxury interior, sporty handling for a luxury sedan, few cars are as impressive as Bentley.
Low prices Eye-popping price, 12-cylinder engine "eats gasoline", surprisingly few standard driver assistance functions.
Verdict Whether you're driving with a driver or you're messing around with a driver, the Flying Spur provides ultra-luxurious relaxation and a confident presence on the road.
Review
Even though it's built from scratch to pamper its passengers, the 2022 Bentley Flying Spur also has a sporty chassis to keep the driver entertained. Three engine options, including a new plug-in hybrid, provide seemingly endless power, and its skillful management turns lazy weekend cruises into a pleasant driving experience. The salon delights with high-quality leather, wood and metal elements combined with modern technologies and amenities. The rear seat is particularly relaxing, especially when equipped with luxury features such as rear bucket seats with power adjustment and heated armrests. However, the Flying Spur's unrivaled combination of luxury and performance has an attractive six-figure price tag, and that's before you even start using the customization options from the Bentley Mulliner line of personalization features.
What's new in 2022?
The plug-in hybrid powertrain joins the model range for 2022 and provides 536 horsepower due to a combination of a twin-turbo V-6 and an electric motor. It is said that the hybrid transmission provides movement only on electricity thanks to its 14.1 kWh battery, but the power reserve of an electric car should be quite limited. Buyers of the Flying Spur hybrid may have to point out to their friends at the country club that they are eco-friendly, since Bentley has done little to distinguish the car from members of its family with V-8 and W-12 engines.
Prices and which one to buy
Hybrid: $200,000 (estimate)
V-8: $200,000 (estimate)
W-12: $225,000 (estimate)
Upgrading the base V-8 engine to the more powerful W-12 is, from our point of view, an easy choice. Bentley customers can choose from several carefully selected themes, such as Cool Harmony, Storm Noir or Alter Ego, when ordering the Flying Spur, but we would advise choosing a completely customized build to make it unique. In the Bentley Mulliner customization program, you will find a seemingly endless variety of body colors and style options. The same applies to the interior decoration, which may include several different types of wood, multicolored leather and polished metal parts. When upgrading from a standard city spec to a tourist one, it adds several driver assistance features, and there's even an additional refrigerated compartment to keep your champagne cool.
Engine, transmission and performance
All Flying Spurs come with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, all-wheel drive and a powerful twin-turbocharged engine. A 542 hp V-8 is included as standard, but we would recommend switching to a 626 hp W-12 engine. The Flying Spur with 12 cylinders under the hood never craves power. In fact, it can show its taillights to many top-level sports cars in drag racing. On our test track, he accelerated to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The model with the V-8 engine showed an identical 3.5-second acceleration from zero to 60 mph, but the W-12 is slightly faster to 100 mph and after a quarter mile. A plug-in hybrid transmission is also available, combining a 2.9-liter V-6 engine with two turbines and an electric motor that provides a total of 536 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. When we briefly drove the Flying Spur near Monaco, we found that it was much more sporty than we expected. The credit for this maneuverability should be given to the adaptive suspension of the sedan and the steering system of the rear wheels. Back in our home state of Michigan, Flying Spur repeated its characteristics from our previous trip and provided a much-needed respite from the crater-covered roads that plague the area near our editorial office.
Interior, comfort and cargo
Luxurious leather, natural wood trim and accents of real metal decorate the interior of the Flying Spur. There is plenty of space in the front or back where adults can stretch out and enjoy the luxurious surroundings. Bentley interior designers managed to maintain the strict and correct style of the brand, while at the same time adding modern technical features.

McLaren 765 LT 2022 - Wild sports car!
McLaren 765LT 2021: Reasonable Senna
Think of the new 765LT as a budget Senna offering almost all the speed of a perfect McLaren race car for less than half the price.
It can be difficult to keep up with the pace and complexity of the McLaren model program. Many of us struggle to list the subtle differences that distinguish between what should be a sports series fighting Porsche and a super series chasing Ferrari, especially since all McLaren road cars share the same basic architecture. And since the carbon fiber tank located in the middle of the twin-turbo V-8 and the dual-clutch transmission are almost identical in each variant, it's easy to assume that cars and driving experiences are equally interchangeable.
However, this categorically does not correspond to reality, which is confirmed by the new 765LT. This car is based on the existing 720S model, which in itself is the lightest and fastest car in its light and fast segment. But the LT received an increase in both thrust and aerodynamic downforce, and also lost the claimed 176 pounds compared to the already slim 720S. The result is a car that is almost as fast and exciting as the Senna with excellent range, despite the fact that it costs half as much. It is also a much more attractive offer from all sides.
LT stands for Long Tail, a name that dates back to the 1997 McLaren F1 GT racing and has become McLaren's modern way of designating models that are track-oriented but remain viable on the road. The 765LT is the successor to the 2015 model 675LT and last year's model 600LT. Like both previous machines, it will eventually spawn a spider version. But after complaints from some 600LT buyers that their cars were not part of the limited edition - a strategy that helps protect the residual value - the production of the 765LT coupe is limited, quite appropriately, to no more than 765 copies. About a third of them are expected to arrive in the United States. Starting at $358,000, it's not much more expensive than it was 675LT five years ago.
We have already provided you with a technical overview of the new car with highlights, including an increase in engine power to 755 horsepower thanks to a higher-power fuel pump, forged aluminum pistons and a more powerful cylinder head gasket. The titanium exhaust system with four free-flow exhaust pipes reduces weight by 8.3 pounds compared to the system on the 720S. The extra weight was also saved by lightweight racing seats, ultralight alloy wheels, polycarbonate rear side glazing and even the removal of carpeting in the cabin. The lightest configuration requires buyers to choose to live without air conditioning or infotainment systems, but we assume that most buyers will keep both (as free options) and will live with a 25.3 pound weight penalty. McLaren claims that even with air conditioning and a stereo system, the 765LT weighs, but when fully refueled, it is 2,988 pounds.
We suspect that many buyers will prefer to make their 765LT a little more luxurious than the company's Spartan ideal, especially since many of the additional comfort options are provided for free. Plusher sports seats, power adjustment for them and steering column, parking sensors, front axle lift and even a Bower audio system & Wilkins with 12 speakers - all this is offered at no additional cost in the USA. I'll be able to save ounces by paying even more, the list of options even includes a "lightweight front MSO Defined badge for $1,520". More significant upgrades for an additional fee include Senna's frame ultralight carbon seats ($7,580) and a reinforced brake package that replaces standard carbon wheels with more thermally efficient carbon-ceramic hypercar rotors. It's an expensive $18,030 box, but having tested the upgraded brakes on the track, we can confirm the benefits.
We tested the 765LT exclusively on the 1.8-mile international circuit at the Silverstone Circuit in England. (The original plan was supposed to have a traffic element, but not COVID-19.) While the truncated program made it impossible to evaluate the capabilities of a new car in the real world - a shame considering how diverse the talents of the 600LT are - he confirmed that the 765LT is incredibly fast and surprisingly easy to drive with a high percentage of its capabilities.

BMW M4 Competition (2021) - The Green Beast!
BMW M4 2022
Starting from: $72,795
Pros Excellent engine and transmission, amazing driving qualities are now available with all-wheel drive.
Cons Excessive adjustment of the driving mode, larger size and weight compared to the last generation, unpleasant digital dashboard.
Verdict The excellent powertrains and stunning performance of the M4 made it possible to create a coveted sports coupe and convertible.
Review
The BMW M4 of 2022 is just as interesting as its fellow M3 sedan, but is only available as a coupe or convertible with a soft top. The base hardtop model comes exclusively with rear-wheel drive, a satisfying manual transmission and an exciting 473 hp inline-six twin turbo. The Competition variant received an improved 503 hp engine, a fast automatic transmission and a unique chassis setup, which should lead to a reduction in lap time at the local race track. Only the automatic M4 is available with all-wheel drive, and this sleek system has a rear-wheel drive mode worthy of drift. Regardless of body type or power, the M4 is a hooray, and its ride is surprisingly civilized when hunting for peaks is not part of the daily commute. We'd like BMW to provide it with analog sensors instead of illegible digital ones, and we'd prefer fewer adjustable driving mode settings, but overall the 2022 M4 is amazing to drive, and that's the main thing.
What's new in 2022?
The big news for the 2022 M4 lineup is the return of the convertible model and the addition of all-wheel drive for the first time. Those who choose the new convertible model, which has a retractable fabric top instead of a hard top, can only get it with the Competition setup and the BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system. Although this combination is intriguing, it makes the M4 Competition convertible significantly more expensive than its coupe counterpart.
Prices and which one to buy
Coupe: $72,795
Competition Coupe: $75,695
Competitive convertible: $87,295
There are a number of good reasons to spend an extra coin on the M4 Competition, including additional power and torque, as well as the possible availability of all-wheel drive. However, we would choose the regular M4 for one really good reason - it is the only car with a satisfactory manual transmission. We would also choose the lightweight bucket seats M with additional support, as well as the M Drive Professional package (built-in drift analyzer and lap timer) and the M Driver package, which provides a higher top speed and includes a one-day class for high-performance driving.
Engine, transmission and performance
The M4 is motivated by a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbocharged engine that comes in two power options. The standard version produces 473 horsepower and 406 Nm of torque. It is combined with rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission. In our testing, this setup accelerated to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and covered a quarter mile in 12.0 ticks at a speed of 121 mph. The Competition model with 503 horses and 479 lb-ft is even faster, but the choice of the only transmission is an eight-speed automatic. To compensate for the lack of a gearshift option, only the M4 Comp can be equipped with a rear-shift all-wheel drive system. Each M4 is equipped with adaptive shock absorbers, an adjustable brake pedal and an electronically controlled exhaust system that gets louder in the Sport and Sport Plus driving modes. The volume can also be lowered at any time by pressing the M Sound button. BMW also provides an excessive number of adjustable driving mode settings, which, in our opinion, may weaken the driving experience that BMW engineers intended. Fortunately, the time spent behind the wheel of the M4 Competition with thick rims demonstrated its steady acceleration, incredible grip and unshakable stability. We're also happy to announce that BMW has improved the steering feel of the coupe, just don't expect it to offer feedback on any two-door Porsche. The regular M4 has 18-inch front wheels and 19-inch rear wheels, while the M4 Competition has 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels.
Interior, comfort and cargo
Although the M4 has the same interior layout and passenger space as the regular 4-Series, it boasts a variety of unique materials and some race-inspired options. The thick-rimmed steering wheel has a pair of red buttons for customizable driving modes.

Audi A8L 2022 - Interior Exterior and Drive (Superb Luxury Sedan)
Audi A8 2022 will present an updated look
While the ultra-luxury Horch model is destined for China, the US will get this updated version of Audi's largest sedan.
Audi has unveiled updates to the 2022 A8 full-size luxury sedan.
The A8L with a long wheelbase will be available in the US along with the high-performance S8.
The key changes affected the headlights, taillights and radiator grille, as well as interior improvements.
Although the new ultra-luxury Horch model will only be sold in China, Audi has confirmed that an updated version of the A8 luxury sedan will arrive on our shores in 2022. Full specifications for the US are not yet available, but these photos of European specification cars indicate the changes expected for this flagship four-door car.
The key changes are visible in the headlights, taillights and radiator grille, the shape of which has been changed. New wheel designs and new colors are also available, although we're not sure if all five of the new available matte paint options will be offered in the US. Inside there are several additions to the trim palette and entertainment screens for rear passengers. this is a new option.
We do not expect significant changes in the A8 powertrain lineup, which should again include a 3.0-liter V-6 with 335 hp in the 55 version, a 4.0-liter V-8 with 453 hp in the 60 version, and a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 with 563 hp in the S8. The plug-in hybrid with a total capacity of 443 horsepower should also continue. And, as before, the A8 is likely to be available in the US only in the form of A8L with a long wheelbase.
Audi says that the updated A8 will not appear on the US market for some time, but when it does, we expect prices to rise slightly compared to the base price of the 2021 model: $87,545 for the A8L and $133,245 for the S8

2022 Range Rover VS 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser - SUV BATTLE!
--- 2022 Range Rover ---
SE: $105,350
Autobiography: $153,350
First Edition: $159,550
Despite the fact that it has more than half a century of roots, the elite interior of the 2022 Range Rover and first-class exterior appeal are designed to attract rich white-collar workers. While its transformation has lasted decades, this leather-lined limousine has reached a point where its starting price of almost a six-figure price seems appropriate. The interior is distinguished by high-end finishes such as leather, wood and thick-pile carpeting. And there are plenty of technologies too. Buyers can opt for a turbocharged inline-six engine or a powerful 523 hp twin-turbo V-8 engine, but all models come standard with off-road features such as an all-wheel drive system and a rear-wheel drive system. steering system and air suspension, which can be raised to increase ground clearance. Few Range Rover owners would dare venture too far from paved roads, but knowing that you can, if you want to, is actually a luxury.
Like the Range Rover of the outgoing generation, the new model offers a chic interior decorated with rich leather and wood, but buyers who want a more eco-friendly cabin can choose a new version without leather, which is replaced with wool or other textiles. The cabin can accommodate four, five or seven people, depending on the configuration and wheelbase. An additional motorized cargo compartment partition helps prevent excessive movement of things during the trip, and the Range Rover's separate rear luggage compartment door can be used as comfortable and comfortable seats for outdoor events.
--- Toyota Land Cruiser 2022 ---
While we wait to see what Toyota will do with this new model on our shores, we can dive into the technical specifications. It weighs 440 pounds less than its predecessor and uses two new engines: a gasoline twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6 with 409 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, or a turbodiesel twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6 with an engine. 304 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. A ten-speed automatic transmission and, of course, all-wheel drive are standard for all cars.
The new design is not radically different from the current model, but the front part has a more prominent grille and a brighter lighting setting, and the rear part has new taillights and a modified tailgate shape. Inside, the interior has been significantly updated, thanks to a large tablet-style infotainment screen and a clearer dashboard layout. Three rows of seats will be available, and the third row seems to fold to the floor - unlike the current model, which requires you to flip and fold the rear seats up towards the windows for more load capacity.
We'll soon learn more about Toyota's future plans for the Land Cruiser, and we're curious to see what happens-if anything-to the nameplate in the US.
