Nature Trumps Man: Post Eclipse Report
Nature Trumps Man
By Soul Level Astrologer Mark Borax
The big cosmic news this month is the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8 at 2:21 pm eastern, at 20° Aries, a point of the zodiac which demands we come to terms with the missing piece, the elusive x-factor needed to restore wholeness.
Eclipses are dramatic celestial events that surpass most cosmic weather to stun the whole world. Even if you know nothing of astrology you're probably getting swept up in the Public Spectacle that accompanies total solar eclipses.
That madness may be genetically imprinted in our species because ancient people the world over were even more stunned by such dramas, which struck primal terror in the heart. When I witnessed total solar eclipses while I was younger I saw the sky thicken to a dark cobalt blue tinged with a strange green color that made it seem as if we'd all been devoured by a galactic monster and were inside its belly. Even with foreknowledge of the event I couldn't escape primal terror that the natural order of things had just been overturned.
Leading up to the event, especially if you're in the path of totality, Animals can freak out and run away, so it's a good idea to keep pets indoors.
20° Aries amplifies the feeling of something missing. Added to the customary dose of strangeness that always accompanies eclipses anyway, a double dose of freakout is likely.
As much as civilization has advanced to dominate nature, eclipses upend that dominance, reminding viewers of primal forces that dwarf mankind. Whatever you plan to do that day the sun will get swallowed.
Even if you're not in the view path, any upending you may feel in your personal life may indicate a missing piece in your story, especially in the realm of Relationship.
Some people talk themselves out of believing what their soul knows to be true. Eclipses can rip such rationalizations to shreds and expose the core truth below.
Who Are You Really? Why Are You Here?
How Much Longer Are You Willing to Wait?

Diving Headlong Into The Mystery
Since Pluto resumed its 20-year excursion through Aquarius at the end of last month, and the New Moon in Aquarius on February 9th launches the Year of the Dragon, the Water Bearer has become the Sign of Our Time.
All this Aquarian energy summons one of the main themes of the sign which is the contrast between trusting the mind's ability to depend on logic and information, and turning to the soul's wisdom to dive headlong into Mystery.
On that level I sense a collective dream gathering force like a mystic cloud preparing to rain down on the parched spirit of our time. With Pluto churning the collective waters of Aquarius it behooves us to balance the massive weight of "facts" trumped up by media with a burgeoning awareness that people all over the world are sick to death at being ruled by obsolete forces and are aching for something healthy and whole.
The last time Pluto moved through Aquarius was during the international revolutions of the 18th century that replaced monarchies with representative governments. But the current state of those governments has grown so bloated with corruption that some may now be worse than monarchies, and need new revolutions.
When the Dragon spreads its wings the call goes out around the world to dream big and fly high. When we combine the often-acute mental perceptions of this inventive astrology sign with the knowledge of the heart, we may bring about the full dawning of the Aquarian Age, where the truth that we all belong together in this Earth may preside over the excarnational forces trying to remove us.

2024: Pluto in Aquarius During the Flight of the Dragon
Two main factors dominate the cosmic weather of the new year; one occurs every twelve years, and the other about every 250 years. Let's begin with the more frequent: the flight of the dragon.
Oriental animal years are based on commonly-known beasts such as rats, oxen, tigers, cats and so forth, except for the exception to the rule, who this year takes flight February 9th, which launches The Year of the Dragon.
During a Dragon year each of us are put to the task of uncovering our uniqueness, our larger-than-life mystical identity; the great mythopoetic quest our soul signed up for when it chose to return from spirit to Earth during this Crossroads of the Ages. Humanity is being given the choice between Love and Oblivion. If you were born in a Year of the Dragon (those people currently around 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84 and 96 years old) this goes double for you.
Last January, we entered a year some Oriental countries see as Rabbit and others as Cat. I know cats much better so that's how I see it. Cats are the animals that stay poised in rapt attention, with very sharp senses that tune into all movements in their environment. The cat in you has been summoned to drop out of your mind into your senses, tuning into your surroundings with keen acuity, asking What's going on here? Who is this other one? What are they bringing me? But in February that tiny catlike domain will explode into the huge soaring expanse of the Dragon.
Around the world a great battle is being waged for a tremendous prize: the future of humanity. In the 1960s at the dawning of the Aquarian Age, a burst of love consciousness erupted, recruiting teenagers like me to leave the homes we'd known and hitchhike to San Francisco to get in on the new world busy being born then. Politics, art, fashion, religion and politics were infused with the sense of freedom from tired and stale ways of relating. More than anything else it was the songs of that time that carried the revolution, as for a few years many albums that came out didn't just offer new music but portals to whole new worlds through their vibrations, lyrics and cover art.
Pluto in Aquarius during the Year of the Dragon demands that you strip off your disguise and use dragon fire to burn up the parts of you that are inauthentic or obsolete, and get nakedly down to essence. The big hulking shadows of our time can be countered by one small, simple, constant, ongoing practice from you: Presence.
Where we are tempted to check out we must learn to check in. Where the world's strange changes steal our soul we must muster dragon power to realize that love is always stronger than hate and your presence is the antidote to billions of people tuning out, turning off and going numb.
If we each come back to center, feel what we truly feel, and join forces here, the human race may pull off the impossible during the next two decades, and finish the Revolution in Consciousness we began so long ago, when so many songs, even on AM radio, carried banners of love and freedom. Please join the flight!

Septiles and Quincunxes Galore
The month starts with septiles and quincunxes galore. A septile is a 51°4' angle between two planets, one of the hardest to deal with. Septiles indicate the heaviest karma your soul has been dragging around. Quincunxes are 150° angles and are the second hardest to resolve.
The gift of septiles and quincunxes is that like catapults they force you down so far and so deep that if you ever get sprung in the darkest recesses of the soul, no external traps are likely to imprison you again.
This is not an easy time on planet Earth but it contains much joy, especially the joy of more and more people awakening to the radical idea that they get to be who they are. In my work I see this wave coming on stronger and stronger, even as so many things fall into questionability and turmoil.
Once you get it in your gut and cells and bones that you actually get to be who you really are, then the places you've been pushed way way down in life after life can spring you toward the ecstasy of presence.

Saturn Recall During The Dark God's Passage
Saturn Recall During The Dark God's Passage:
Tapping the Deepest Source, to Release the Truest Power
By Soul Level Astrologer Mark Borax
On Nov 4 Saturn goes direct in the first degree of Pisces. Saturn is the voice of Authority. In Soul Level Astrology that voice originates in the soul. According to Rudolf Steiner, after you died in your last life you advanced through a series of counsels with each of your planetary guides, until you came to Saturn, where you established reasons why you'd come back again. Then you came back into this life.
When your life veers away from those prenatal vows, Saturn puts up roadblocks. When you align with those vows Saturn lifts the gates.
Deep inside you is an ocean of love that sources your journey from spirit to flesh and back again. Saturn turning direct in Pisces opens a deep channel for you to remember who you are. When you remember who you are on that level, your purpose becomes synonymous with your nature. You're here to live the love that you are in your own unique way which requires tapping the Piscean Sea of Incarnation and drawing mystic power out of the spiritual planes into your daily life.
During Pluto's retreat from Aquarius to Capricorn between last June and next January, tapping this source requires facing showdowns with Power. Much of the way Power gets used in the modern world is False Power; today we have our work cut out for us to even begin to conceive some kind of Authentic Power. Here's a hint: True Power gives. False Power takes. True Power is generative. False Power is needy.
The 20-year period we entered during Spring Equinox this year is drawing us into the Aquarian Age, which we've been trying to inhabit since the 1960s. To actually live the World of Love we fought for then, we have to confront everything in its way. Eruptions of False Power are breaking out all over the globe now so we can see what they're made of and dismantle thier machinery that lives inside us. Love is the only true power.

AWAKENING FROM AMNESIA: NEW MOON ECLIPSE IN LIBRA
By Soul Level Astrologer Mark Borax
A solar eclipse in the middle of the month (October 14 at 1:55 pm Eastern) summons you to awaken from amnesia and blow up false patterns of relationship, which is the message of 22° Libra, where the New Moon Eclipse takes place.
Around the world this year, with the Dragon's Tail in Libra, the call is going out for Authentic Camaraderie, but you can't evolve your relationships with others to that extent until you do the same with your relationship to yourself.
The Dragon's Tail, aka South Node of the Moon, marks the old karma we have to turn around to open the bright future.
The amnesia that's threatening to destroy our planet and our species is that we've forgotten we're made of love, and fallen for the illusion that we're here to keep everything going the way it is rather than live our lives in the service of what we cherish.
When you awaken to the love you're made of, you shake the halls of false power that have taken over world government, education, medicine, and media.
Opposite the Dragon's Tail in Libra is the Aries path to a bright clear future that opens when we establish right relationship with ourselves.
Overcoming the false self restores authentic selfhood, which in turn evolves into authentic camaraderie, and right now we need all the true friends, collaborators, cohorts, and lovers we can gain to clear away the Not-Love version of human society and get back to what we learned in the Sixties, that love is lord of all.

From the Cat to the Dragon: Wrapping up the Immediate to Get to the Gigantic!
Between now and February, we're stalking the last half of the Year of the Cat. Some eastern countries see this year as a cat, some as a rabbit. Most people in the West only think of it as a Rabbit, but I'm more tuned into cats than rabbits.
This is the only animal year with two different animals.
In February, the New Moon in Aquarius will launch the Year of the Dragon, so we'll spring from one of the smallest and most affectionate animals to the most gigantic, from the here-and-now immediacy of life to the galactic scale of who you are and what you've come to do in the greatest scheme of things.
Cats thrive on intuition and vibe.
They're the best for tuning into the hidden energy of things, which indicates that any choices and decisions you face now and in the next six months may be handled better by vibe and intuition than by analytical intellect and raw power.
Sharpening your reading of the vibe in the most immediate contexts of love, work, health, friendship and family between now and February is essential, for when the Dragon takes off you don't want to be tethered by detail after detail, but take off like a rocket into the Big Dream of your soul.
With 7 out of 15 planets now retrograde the pressure's on to look inward to be sure that whatever you're doing outward is aligned with your soul. Retrogrades send energies down into hidden zones like nightly dreams, unexpressed feelings, and withheld emotion. If you're blocked on the external, take time out before forging ahead to look in and get catly cozy with what's going on inside you till it feels right.
Check in with your deep knowing, which may have something much different to tell you than what your inner taskmaster and social ego have to say.

Pluto in Aquarius: The 20 Year Plan
June Cosmic Weather Report written by Mark Borax
On June 11 Pluto slips out of Aquarius, where it's been since Spring Equinox, into Capricorn for about seven months. In 2008 Pluto entered Capricorn, sign of authority, government and power, and that year brought a financial crisis caused by banking greed and government collusion. During the last 15 years as Pluto delved deeper into the sign of the seagoat, further abuses of power erupted as world government swung more and more toward totalitarianism masquerading as democracy.
Pluto is going to spend most of the next 20 years in Aquarius, sign of revolution, except for two brief regressions into Capricorn: June 11 this year through January 21 next year, and September 2 through November 20 next year.
During the next seven months we can expect further entrenchment of delusional government with full media complicity, which seems to have at least half the world population brainwashed into thinking wrong is right and bad is good. But a good percentage of the world seems to be waking up from the mirage of false power. The more world tyranny presses down the screws the more it will foment the revolution bound to come when Pluto deepens its journey through Aquarius.
That journey gives us 20 years to make it or break it as a species, which means whoever you are, wherever you live, don't squelch your love or hold back your truth. Either our species finally wakes up to realize we're all in this together, or there's going to be little left of this Earth for our descendents to inherit.
