About Ryan
Ryan Palmbaum is a former NCAA Division 1 collegiate soccer player who holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration: Finance and Management from the University at Albany, SUNY. He is the founder of Dabbl Discovery, an innovative EdTech company.
At the age of 23, Ryan founded Dabbl Discovery, an educational short-form video platform that helps younger people discover their passions through trusted, experienced professionals and educators in various career paths and industries.
In his personal life, Ryan has lived long-term in Argentina, Greece, Spain, and multiple other foreign countries, developing invaluable cultural and practical skills along the way. He firmly believes that finding and following one's passion will lead to opportunities. This philosophy underpins Dabbl Discovery's mission.
Academically, Ryan spent 2.5 years at Northern Michigan University, majoring in Finance and Risk Management. He excelled both on and off the soccer field, earning a 3.95 cumulative GPA and receiving multiple honors, including 3 All-Conference selections, 2 All-Region selections, and being named GLIAC Freshman of the Year in 2019. He then transferred to the University at Albany, SUNY, where he continued his academic and athletic careers for 1.5 more years, maintaining a 3.95 cumulative GPA and graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and Management.
