Thoughts on the Enneagram
Ultimately, the enneagram tells you, at your core, you are perfect and in perfect harmony with others and the “cosmos.” You just need to do the inner work of fixing yourself and you will then restore yourself to your inherent perfect state.
There is nothing Biblical about this. Only by the blood of Jesus and His work on the cross can you be restored and reconciled to God.
“It’s just a personality test.” Fine, then so is astrology. And a ouiji board is just a fun game. And a psychic reading is just helping you prepare for the future.
What does the enneagram give you that you couldn’t get from the Bible and the lists if spiritual gifts, fruits of the spirit and sins of the flesh? Is just the pretty package the enneagram comes in? If you are finding more worth in yourself and others around their enneagram number than their spiritual gifts...maybe a red flag? Like why do Christians need to adopt the enneagram lingo?

Deconstructing your Christianity
If you would have asked me even just 2 years ago which age group was “deconstructing” their religion I would have said Gen Z. BUT I have realized in the last couple of years, this is actually a big trend among millennials, even elder millennials like myself. It’s not Gen Z deconstructing, it’s Gen Z’s mom.

Does Abortion Solve Problems for Women?
We live in a society where abortion isn’t murder and it hasn’t been treated that way legally or otherwise. It’s treated casually. It’s simply killing off an unwanted part of your body. Like having a mole removed. It’s not significant or meaningful. Or at least that’s what women are told. So I don’t think there is malicious intent there because of societal norms. But something being “normal” doesn’t make it holy.

Is abortion spiritual? (pt 1)
I think very little to none of what we do in our life is spiritually neutral. We are either furthering God’s kingdom with our actions and words or we are tearing it down. And abortion is no exception. It is not a spiritually neutral topic. Abortion is either building God’s kingdom up or tearing it down.
Once you are able to view life this way…as not spiritual neutral, your eyes open to a lot of things going on around you that you might have thought were just no big deal.
Now, there are a lot of Christians doing amazing work around the pro-life movement and caring for BOTH babies AND mothers. OK, I’m not saying they’re aren’t, because frankly resources for pregnant women and mothers beyond planned parenthood would be negligible without Churches and Christians.
And that is something the mainstream narrative loves to ignore or tear down. They want to pretend they are all for choice, but make the wrong choice, they’ll leave you high & dry or worse yet send you over to the government for help. - We’re going to touch on that more later.
Back to Christians…BUT, there are also a great many of Christians riding the fence on this issue. OR even calling themselves pro-choice Christian or Pro-choice pastors. Which boggles my mind.
As there is not one scripture I can think of that supports abortion. Nor does it reflect any Godly or Holy characteristics. IN FACT we see the GOD of the Bible rescuing his people from such practices. There’s some thick wool over a lot of eyeballs.
A common sentiment I hear from Christians is "I wouldn’t choose it for me, but who am I to judge or stop someone else. I just need to support and love them.”

I’m going to say something really unpopular now days… this is the quiet out loud…so here we go…the color of your skin doesn’t matter. It’s not the most important thing about you.
It’s A thing about you. But I’d argue it’s not even in the top 10 of most important things about you.
It’s a physical attribute that holds no bearing, zero, on your worth, on your value, or on your humanity.
It doesn’t make you a good or bad person. It doesn’t make you always right or always wrong. It doesn’t hold you back or propel you forward. It does not define you.
You are free from the color of your skin.
And anyone who tell you otherwise…is a liar.
You want to know how I can boldly declare that? Because Jesus!
Galations 3:28 - for you are ALL ONE in Christ Jesus.

Does Feminism Still Represent Women?
Feminism, is not a subject we are generally allowed to speak negatively about.
If you do, you’ll be accused of harboring internalized misogyny. This type of name calling is a scare tactic. Intended to get shut you up and shut you down.
“OH you don’t like feminism? Well, you must hate women.”
“Uh, no hun, I don’t hate women…I hate bad ideas that harm women. And I’m capable of separating bad ideas from the women themselves…are you?”
As a women you are expected to support and follow suit with the feminist movement no matter where it leads us. Even if it leads us to our own erasure. It’s for your own good. It’s for your best interests!!! Why are you fighting against what’s best for you? That’s what they will tell you.
Which is problem #1…Who decides what’s in my best interests? Me? Or feminism?

Welcome to 2022
Welcome to 2022. Where women are mass prescribed birth control. At dead end jobs. Sleeping around. Increasingly need antidepressants. More likely to obese than men. Glamorize alcoholism. Deal with immense guilt between working and family.
Feminism told women they could have it all!!! And do it all!!! And do it better than men!!!
So do we? Have it all? And is having it all sustainable?
Have things really progressed as much as we’d hoped? In some ways absolutely yes! In others…maybe not as much as we’d like to think.

The Lost Sense of Modesty
Boobs. Butts. Stomachs. All at once. We weren’t at the beach folks.
What happened to balance? Want to show a little leg? Then wear a top with more coverage. Want to show a little chest, then wear a bottom with more coverage. This was all…skin tight, tiny pieces of fabric that were more underwear than clothing. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable FOR these girls. GIRLS. Little girls…not grown women…but children…

Are plants “just like” meat?
Are plant based food products truly “just like” animal based ones? And why the such the hard push toward them when the powers that be have made it quite clear they don’t care about our actual health?
