Instagram: F.A.S.LIFE_ I took a couple of days to edit and post the videos that I've been filming so that we can be up to date. In the meantime, I've been searching everywhere for Khabib's gym. Maybe because of the language barrier, its been difficult find it through GPS, google and more since it may be in another language. Either way, I got a lead to his gym through a taxi driver. But I come to find out that it was incorrect information. I went from the capital of Dagestan (Makhachkala) to Kizilyurt and back because of that information. Instagram: F.A.S.LIFE_ We finally made our way to Khamzat Chimaev's Hometown in Elin-Yurt, Chechnya. The whole trip over there was about an hour and a half through a bus but it was well worth it. Once I got to Elin-Yurt, the taxi driver drove me around the whole village and showed me Khamzat's history. Even took me to his house where his dad arrived and I was able to meet him as well. It was another amazing risk to somewhere unknown to me and not knowing what will come from. Lets just say, it was a good day. As I said, I knew I was able to be accepted easily as long as I came in respectfully and not causing too much attention to myself. I know the news has shown something else with a famous basketball player so I wanted to show everyone that the first challenge of me making it into Russia during a tough time and on top of a scandal; I would still manage to come in safe and sound. Without trying, I made a friend named Dery and we immediately start experiencing what Moscow, Russia is about and the busiest metro station in Europe. Also, it's one of the deepest in the world as well. This underground metro in itself is a tourist attraction and has a lot of reasons why its so deep. Keep watching to see how it went for me on my first day inside of Russia. Pude llegar a Rusia de manera segura como colombiano-estadounidense. Como dije, sabía que podía ser aceptado fácilmente siempre que entrara respetuosamente y no llamara demasiado la atención. Colombia just isn't a country in Latino America. We also represent what many hard working/blue collared men and women go through. In many countries in North, Central and South America; many tourists just see it as a place to relax, enjoy, take their vacations days, rest and more so they can go back to work. As they should do because those people also work hard. But it doesn't give them a chance to see what the people of that country really go through to provide those beautiful experiences for them. So this is me showing you a side of my beloved Colombia where they are working hard to provide for their families with the conditions they've been given, to provide food for the tourists and more. They represent every hard working American, in all of the countries in the Americas (including the US and Canada) where hard labor is overlooked. That's why I decided to create this video. Colombia has always been great to me. There hasn't been a time where I don't feel proud of where I was born, raised and welcomed. That includes the US. There isn't a country that I can truly say I don't feel welcomed. The people are always great to me for the most part. Every single country around the world has its pros and cons. And I just happen to notice it and I hope you can too! Colombia siempre ha sido bueno conmigo. No ha habido un momento en el que no me siento orgulloso de donde nací, me crié y me dieron la bienvenida. Eso incluye a los EE.UU. No hay un país en el que realmente pueda decir que no me siento bienvenido. La gente siempre es excelente para mí en su mayor parte. In Pereira, I made the decision to leave the downtown area to go explore the smaller towns around it. I was fortunate enough to get an uber driver that was willing to drive me more than an hour away since other drivers saw a conflict by going that far. Being even more fortunate, the driver was a humbled retired Colombian Special Forces Sergeant that was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia. His story is amazing and he informs us of what he's been through with his tours outside of Colombia and also what he's seen and gone through in his operations in Colombia as well. All this while on our way to Armenia, Colombia. Watch to see what he tells us of his experiences with the Colombian Special Forces. En Pereira, tomé la decisión de dejar el centro de la ciudad para ir a explorar los pueblos más pequeños a su alrededor. Tuve la suerte de conseguir un conductor de uber que estaba dispuesto a llevarme a más de una hora de distancia, ya que otros conductores vieron un conflicto al llegar tan lejos. Siendo aún más afortunado, el conductor era un humilde Sargento Colombiano retirado de las Fuerzas Especiales nacido en Bucaramanga, Colombia. Su historia es increíble y nos cuenta lo que ha vivido con sus giras fuera de Colombia y también lo que ha visto y vivido en sus operaciones en Colombia. We ended the trip in San Andres, Colombia with my back feeling awful and my sciatic nerve being pinched. I was immobile for a few days but I didn't let that stop me from giving you all a small tour of Pereira, Colombia. What's to come is also just as beautiful as the rest as Colombia.
