Khamzat Chimaev's Hometown: Elin-Yurt, Chechnya --Crossing paths with his father

We finally made our way to Khamzat Chimaev's Hometown in Elin-Yurt, Chechnya. The whole trip over there was about an hour and a half through a bus but it was well worth it. Once I got to Elin-Yurt, the taxi driver drove me around the whole village and showed me Khamzat's history. Even took me to his house where his dad arrived and I was able to meet him as well. It was another amazing risk to somewhere unknown to me and not knowing what will come from. Lets just say, it was a good day.

Finalmente nos dirigimos a la ciudad natal de Khamzat Chimaev llamada Elin-Yurt. Todo el viaje hasta allí fue de aproximadamente una hora y media en autobús, pero valió la pena. Una vez que llegué a Elin-Yurt, el taxista me llevó por todo el pueblo y me mostró la historia de Khamzat. Incluso me llevó a su casa donde llegó su papá y pude conocerlo también. Fue otro riesgo increíble ir a un lugar desconocido para mí y no saber de dónde vendría. Digamos que fue un buen día.
