Jolly parrot plays tossing game with holiday bows
Einstein the Parrot is in jolly mood! He and his owner enjoy wrapping gifts and after the job is done they begin to play a game of bow toss. Einstein's owner tosses the bows and he runs to catch them and tosses them off the kitchen counter. Then it's time for the paper tube of wrapping paper. It makes an interesting sound when tossed on the counter. Then it's overboard for it as well!
Einstein the Talking Texan Parrot is a silly, smart, and popular parrot who loves to talk and entertain! He likes to have conversations with his owners, talking, doing animal sound imitations and acting silly. He also enjoys singing and dancing in some of his video compilations. As stated on his website, Einstein's mission statement: "To entertain and bring joy, to foster the human-parrot bond, and to convey that parrots are deserving of immeasurable amounts of patience, nurturing, and companionship." As previously mentioned, Einstein is popular on many social media sites such as YouTube @einsteinparrot, Instagram @einsteinparrot, Twitter @einsteinparrot, and Facebook @einsteintexanparrot.
Living with a parrot is a big commitment. Parrots live a very long time. A parrot such as Einstein can live to be 50 or 60 years old. Many larger parrots like Macaws can live to be 100 years old. They all require a lot of care, proper nutrition, training, time and patience. Parrots need a lot of attention and lots of toys and activities to keep from being bored. Parrots are also expensive, a large cage is an investment and plenty of play perches to spend their out of cage time. Specialized veterinarian care is also required. Most of all they require your companionship and a forever home. Many people decide after the first few years of parrot ownership that the responsibility is too great and the parrots become neglected and sometimes abandoned. When that happens they are sent to parrot rescue facilities to be adopted by a new family or some spend their lives in sanctuaries. It is often said, "Having a parrot is much like raising a 2 or 3 year old child for the rest of your life!"

Helpful parrot lends a beak to wrap holiday gifts
Einstein the Talking Texan Parrot is in the holiday spirit willing to lend a hand, or in his case, a beak to help with the wrapping of gifts. He's very interested in in the shiny bows. He helps to fold the paper. However, he's not allowed to use the scissors even though he tried his best to get a hold of them. He really wanted to help with the tape, which was most appealing to him. He likes the crunching sound it makes. He and his owner are finished at last and Einstein makes the final inspection of the job they did. Job well done Einstein!
Yes! That is a picture of Einstein on the tshirt his owner is wearing. His saying, Merry Corn is very popular and so are his t-shirts. You can have one too! Just do a web search for: Einstein Merry Corn T-Shirt.

Eager parrot wants toy from his Christmas stocking

With his amazing talking abilities, and funny antics, Einstein the talking parrot’s videos will keep you entertained for hours!
Einstein has his own stocking that is fashioned to look like an African Grey parrot, and it has his name on it. Every year his stocking are hung near his kitchen drawer where he likes to play. This year he got a cow rattle toy in his stocking. Einstein loves the bell ringing sound it makes. He wanted the new toy badly, but it was placed too high for him to reach. Einstein waved to his owner as if he wanted some help. At first he decided to climb up the stocking, but that didn't work as the toy was not budging. He needed to get a higher vantage point! He solved this problem by climbed on the nearby dish rack and reached over for the coveted toy! He stretches his neck so far, yet the toy was still lodged in place. Thankfully his owner rewarded his clever problem solving by tipping the stocking a little closer to his reach. Mission accomplished and a happy parrot shook and rattled his new toy! If you enjoyed this video, you may like to watch him decorate for the holidays. Search the video title, Parrot works hard to install Christmas lights. Einstein is not ferocious at all! He is a very sweet, well tempered parrot. However, he possesses of his natural instincts and will bite if he feels threatened in some way. One day Einstein was making a new sound that sounded like a roar. It is not known where Einstein discovered this sound, but he certainly liked making the sound. His owner thought it was very funny and decided to put the cue word, "lion" to it. Einstein now roars when he wants and he is also learned the word "lion" in just a few days. Friendly Parrot Tries To Engage Duck Statues In Conversation

Einstein politely asked his duck friends if they would like a grape. He gives them a friendly wave, then asked if they would prefer broccoli or sweet potato. He informs them that "It's good". Sadly, he gets no response, so Einstein offers water and again tells them it's good. He walks up and gently nudges one of the ducks with his foot. Einstein decides that maybe a little dancing and whistling would get thier attention. It didn't, so he walks over to them again and reassuringly tells them it's OK. Einstein continues to dance his heart out. Sadly, no response. After one last nudge and a little hug Einstein decides the ducks just aren't interested in what he has to offer.

Time lapse captures parrot's demolition of pumpkin

No, the pumpkin didn't really explode, but it sure looked like it when Einstein got done with it! The beak of a parrot is scary to some people, just look at what Einstein manages to do to this pumpkin! A parrots beak is better suited for pumpkin carving than a knife. This time lapse video shows about 3 and a half hours of chomping fun. How much do I actually eat? Very little. However, that's not the point. The pumpkin is more of an enrichment activity and for keeping my beak busy entertained. If some of the pumpkin was actually consumed, and it probably was, it would be a bonus as it's very healthy! Loaded with vitamin A and beta carotenes. The seed were later roasted and will also be enjoyed.

Helpful parrot provides instruction for lunch preparation

Einstein and his owner are in the kitchen preparing lunch together. It's obvious that Einstein watches the whole process and provides instructions for Jeff. He imitates the sounds of the microwave beeps and the banging sound of a utensil on the side of a dish. Usually he will make the sound of water, but this time he tells his owner to get some water. He also tell him the food needs to cool. Notice how Einstein gently makes a blowing sound while Jeff cools off the bread. Einstein also makes a few other comments such as "Red butt clean" and "red butt corn". Not appropriate lunch conversation, but perhaps these comments are in reference to cleaning up after lunch. At last lunch is served and it's delicious birdie bread! If you would like to watch more videos of Einstein, visit his channel page on Rumble: https://rumble.com/einsteinparrot/

This is a fun time lapse video of Einstein tearing up an artichoke. It actually took him about 95 minutes to destroy this artichoke. The video is then reversed and the artichoke is put back together. If only the clean up would of been this easy! LOL! If you enjoyed this, watch another video of Einstein tearing up an artichoke here: http://bit.ly/2Ansdud. This is great way to keep beaks busy while providing enrichment and introducing new vegetables to them.

Parrot provides hilarious housekeeping entertainment

Einstein is better at making messes than doing any cleaning. When it comes to cleaning he tends to be more moral support than anything else. Whenever he sees his owners clean, (which is often when you own a parrot) his owners would always say, "Gotta clean". Einstein soon learned what cleaning meant when he saw his owners with a rag or towel in their hands. The phrase "red butt" was learned by Einstein as a result of his owners playfully calling him a "red butt chicken". Einstein combined the two phrases "Gotta Clean", and "Red butt chicken" to make the hilarious phrase "Red butt clean". The cleaning song Einstein sings is a result of a little tune his owner sang one day while cleaning. Einstein heard the tune and liked it! Einstein often sings it whenever he watches cleaning activities.
Note: The owner was not doing any cleaning with chemicals while Einstein was in the bathroom. Doing so is dangerous and pet birds should always be in other rooms away from cleaning products as they can be deadly. Ravenous parrot really loves eating pizza!

Pizza is a universal comfort food. Loved by many young and old. Have you ever seen a parrot get this excited over pizza? Einstein took little time to dive right into this pizza. At one point he managed to get some of the sauce on his face. He bites at the crust which is his favorite part. Picking it up and throwing it down again, this dinner guest was not shy and could learn a few table manners. Einstein hilariously folded the pizza over, a creative move to make it easier to eat.
Pizza isn't a healthy food for parrots, and this Margarita pizza was actually prepared for the humans dinner. Einstein was allowed to have a few bites of the crust as a treat. Because of the high fat and sodium content of pizza he was not allowed to eat much of the cheese and sauce. Note: The pizza was not piping hot from the oven, no worries, Einstein didn't suffer any burns.

Who says you can't play with your food! Parrots can! They love to forage, chew and destroy things. Those things might as well be homemade food toys. Einstein's owner paid $2.95 for the choke along with a red, green, and yellow bell pepper to be used later for a stir-fry dinner. She had some celery and carrots in the refrigerator. The veggies were cut into strips and wash the artichoke well, stuff the artichoke with the veggies and hide pieces of almonds, walnuts, and pistachios in the leaves of the artichoke. The owner thought Einstein would be afraid of this ridiculous looking concoction, but he wasted no time tearing it to shreds! There is no way of knowing how much he actually consumed, but he had a great time with this healthy diy toy!

Talking parrot has full blown conversation with reflection

He likes to have conversations with his owners, talking, doing animal sound imitations and acting silly. He also enjoys singing and dancing in some of his video compilations. With his amazing talking abilities, and funny antics, Einstein the talking parrot’s videos will keep you entertained for hours!
We're all familiar with the quote from Snow White's evil stepmother. "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" Perhaps that is what Einstein the parrot is thinking as he gazes at his reflection. Einstein loves to look at himself in the mirror. There are dozes of videos online of him talking and acting silly as he talks to his duplicate image. For example, watch this one. https://youtu.be/2wOOCuB616s. This time he's in the bedroom and this is a different mirror. It is the perfect place to practice some animal sounds, some dancing. When his owner compliments him on having pretty feathers he relies with an appropriate wolf whistle! You are very handsome Einstein and you just might be the fairest of them all!

Talking parrot has incredibly adorable wave

With his amazing talking abilities, and funny antics, Einstein the talking parrot’s videos will keep you entertained for hours!
Einstein is not just known for his talking abilities. He also does this silly wave that people love to watch. He waves in many of his videos that you can find online. People often ask, “How did you teach him to wave like that!” The owner explains, we didn’t really teach him, he is just imitating us. Whenever we wave to Einstein we always used an exagerated waving motion. In the 1960’s, a popular TV show called “The Beverly Hillbilies” had a character named Granny. The show concluded with Granny standing with the rest of her family and waving good-bye. Granny would wave in a very silly, exagerated manner. Granny was the inspiration for the way the owner would wave at Einstein. The owner would wave this way when leaving Einstein to go run errands, or when going to work, and at night before bedtime. Eventually, Einstein started doing the wave, and whenever he did, the owner would laugh and this positive reinforcement encouraged Einstein to wave more often.

Persistent parrot makes specific request for breakfast

With his amazing talking abilities, and funny antics, Einstein the talking parrot’s videos will keep you entertained for hours!
Einstein starts the day with a “good morning” greeting, a big Sleepy yawn and a friendly wave. His first request is for cantaloupe as he whistles the ballpark ‘charge’ tune. As he observes his owner preparing breakfast, he asks for pizza and a pizza party, with some water. He continues his whistling, his continued requests for cantaloupe are made known. He walks over to his perch on the counter where his breakfast awaits. Prepared for him this morning is cooked whole grains, fresh sprouts, and various chopped vegetables and of course his beloved cantaloupe. Sorry Einstein, there is no pizza!

Imaginative Parrot Eats An Air Cookie
Einstein the Talking Texan Parrot is a silly, smart, and popular parrot who loves to talk and entertain! He likes to have conversations with his owners, talking, doing animal sound imitations and acting silly. He also enjoys singing and dancing in some of his video compilations. With his amazing talking abilities, and funny antics, Einstein the talking parrot’s videos will keep you entertained for hours!
Einstein loves to eat, however, he is very messy and drops most of his food on the floor. That is what birds do and is to be expected. Nevertheless, he loves to eat and he often talks about food. His vocalizations include the sounds of lip smacking, or we should call it beak smacking! He talks about melon, we all enjoy watermelon during the hot Texas summers. He makes a water sound that is exactly the way water sounds being poured out of a bottle. We would like to see a human imitate that sound! It simply cannot be done! He continues to talk about melon, corn, apple, sweet potato, broccoli, and "brocorn". Brocorn is a word he made up. It is a combination of his two favorite foods, broccoli, and corn. However, what Einstein really wants is a cookie! We let Einstein eat cookies occasionally, but only a small parrot sized bite. It must not have any chocolate in it, as chocolate is toxic to parrots. Einstein pretends he is offered a cookie and holds it with his foot, taking it to his beak where he enjoys a bite. That "air cookie" must be really good!
If you enjoyed watching this video of Einstein eating an air cookie, then you will enjoy this video too where a hungry parrot reminds owner it's dinner time in the most hilarious fashion. Einstein loves cantaloupe. In the summertime it is always in plentiful supply at the produce section of the market. Particularly the Tuscan variety, they are an exceptionally sweet melon with a rich, unctuous flavor. Marcia, his owner was busy preparing a cantaloupe when Einstein decided he wanted a snack. His owner put aside the task and let Einstein enjoy himself. Einstein was on a mission to obliterate the entire fruit! Marcia rescues the cantaloupe from demolition and moves it to a place where she can safely slice off piece for Einstein. Cantaloupe is not only tasty it is very nutritious too. Cantaloupe is an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and beta-carotene. It is also a good source of potassium and contains B vitamins. The vitamin A found in cantaloupe is important for eye health, making your eyesight stay sharp and healthy. Vitamin C aids in wound healing and helps the body make collagen, a protein essential to maintaining strong bones and skin. Cantaloupe is also rich in beta-carotene and rich in antioxidants.
Einstein does enjoy helping in the kitchen, however, much care and attention is always in practiced when knives and heat are being used. Einstein's after is the number one priority. Parrot whistles the familiar ballpark charge tune
Anyone who has attended a sporting event is familiar with the "charge" tune. The short tune consists of six notes followed by rooters shouting, "Charge!" Occasionally, the fanfare is repeated one or more times. Written by Tommy Walker in the fall of 1946. Einstein the parrot has never been to a sporting event, his owners taught him this famous fanfare. He loves to perform it on a regular basis. This particular day he was on the back porch as if watching his favorite sports team and cheering them on. At one point he asks for a nut and put an imaginary net up to his beak. He also requested some water. Sounds like it's time for lunch and a slice of refreshing cantaloupe. Einstein you're a great sports fan and a very silly parrot!

Demanding parrot places breakfast order
Einstein always wakes up in a good mood in the morning. He starts out with a friendly wave and and wants to go see his owner. He politely says, "good morning", then immediately starts placing his order from breakfast. He asks for cantaloupe, water, and bread. His owner assures him that he'll get more than just bread and water. He again asks for cantaloupe, apple and broccoli to the menu. Boldly, he asked for pizza! His owner tells him he won't be getting pizza breakfast! Cantaloupe is his favorite, so he asks for it again. He begins imitating the electronic beep sounds as his owner starts the microwave. Hope you enjoy your breakfast, Einstein!

Excited parrot takes tumble over birthday gift
Einstein had a Hatchday party recently. It's like a Birthday, but since parrots are hatched, they are called "Hatchday". He received cards and well wishes from all his fans. His owners got him his favorite toy too. It was wrapped in tissue paper and while unwrapping it, he literally went head over heals for it! He took a tumble over the other side of the drawer and falls to the floor! It startled and concerned his owner, but no worries, Einstein is alright thank goodness! Happy 21st Hatchday Einstein!

Industrious parrot wants to help sweep the floor
Parrots constantly make a mess! Second only to pigs, parrots can make a mess quicker than you can say "get the broom"! Making a mess is what they were put on earth to do. Without their talent for messiness, the forest floor wouldn't re-seed itself as efficiently. Thanks goes to the birds for spreading all those seeds! Einstein has no forest to plant but he does his best to re-seed the kitchen floor every chance he gets! One day he decided that he was going to clean up a mess he had made. He goes into the pantry where the broom is kept and after admiring his reflection on the stainless steel garbage container, he proceeds to pull the broom out. His owner appreciates this gesture very much. However, Einstein decided to chew the rubber on the dust pan which really defeats the purpose of his intentions! Einstein, better let your owner do the cleaning and you can get back to making a mess!

Smart Parrot Keeps His Cool For What The Fluff' Challenge
From time to time there are various kinds of challenges that are becoming popular all over the world. Just remember the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" when people poured themselves with a bucket of ice water, or the "Mannequin Challenge", where a group of people needed to freeze in one position. Of course, all of these feats should be filmed and shared because they can definitely make your day!
Typically, these appearing and disappearing trends do not carry any deeper meaning, but sometimes Internet users come up with something really sweet. And now there is a new challenge on the world wide web called "What The Fluff". Its essence is very simple: the owners of animals (mostly dogs) should cover themselves with a blanket, place their pet in front of them, and then throw the blanket high above their heads while managing to hide quickly around the corner of the room. The reaction of the pet is mostly puzzled about how their owner evaporated into thin air. The entire process and what transpires should be filmed and posted on the Internet. There is nothing quite like the look of astonishment and marvel that comes across your cat or dog's face when you manage to show them something new about the world. They gaze at you like you are the cleverest being on earth and they cannot wait for what comes afterward. And that is actually the identical expression they have when you play a trick on them.
The “What The Fluff Challenge” became one of the main Internet phenomena of June, and is still gaining momentum on social media generally under the hashtag #WhatTheFluff. The video at the top of the page is one in the multitudes of videos you can search on the Internet that shows a disappearing magic trick played on a dog. Same but not the same: there is a little twist. Watch!
Einstein was recently challenged by another YouTube channel to take part in the popular What The Fluff challenge. Einstein accepted the challenge. His owners perched him nearby and Jeff hid behind the sheet, dropped it and disappeared. Einstein was not impressed at all and was on to this trick. He knew his owner wouldn't and couldn't disappear into thin air! After the trick, Einstein looked at the camera as if to say, "Come on are you serious!?" Einstein is too smart for those shenanigans! While dogs and cats are running and searching for their vanishing owners, Einstein keeps his cool and won't be fooled.

Observant parrot is an excellent watch bird
Parrots instinctively are very observant. This is because in the wild they have to be constantly aware of predators and other dangers. Einstein's father was wild caught and imported into the United States in 1985. Fortunately, this practice ceased when the Wild Bird Conservation Act which was passed in 1992. It is now illegal to import wild parrots. His mother was was first generation captive raised. Therefore, Einstein has many of the wild instincts of his wild cousins. Even though he is very tame and well socialized he is still very observant and always on the look out. One particular day he was playing and talking on his perch. Giving his toys kisses and telling them they're sweet. Looking out his window he saw some people walking down the street. He immediately began chanting "We're walking, we're walking". He was telling his owner people were outside, and sure enough, his owner saw some people walking down the street. Einstein is the perfect "Watch bird!" He then gets silly and starts to do his "raspberry blowing" sound. Never a dull moment with Einstein!

Parrot and owner share meal and special bond
Einstein the Talking Texan Parrot and his owner share a special bond that many people experience with their pets. It is fitting that on a day like Father's Day, the two of them would share a special meal. We are, after all parents to the animal companions in our lives as they depend on us for food, shelter and love. Jeff sits down to a dinner of steak, farro, green beans and broccoli. All of these are favorite foods of Einstein and Jeff. Einstein immediately starts to eat the farro! Jeff jokingly says, "Hey! Don't eat my dinner!" The look on Einstein's face was one of uncertainty until Jeff gives Einstein reassurance that it was OK and offers some grain to Einstein. If you share your life with any animal you come to realize they do understand you. It might the tone in your voice or the body language you exhibit. The human animal bond goes much deeper that you might think.
